Summer Games

June 11-13, 2015

Three days, two players and eights games played in Cedar made for a very long, tiring, crazy weekend.

THURSDAY: 8:00 am Gentry Game, 9:30 am Calli Game and 1:30 pm Gentry Game

We woke up at 5:30 am to get everyone ready and out the door. I drove today, getting lost and making u-turns all day long. But we made it. Gentry won one and lost one. Calli won theirs. 

FRIDAY: 9:15 am Gentry Game, 9:30 am Calli Game, 2:00 pm Calli Game, 5:30 pm Gentry Game.

Another early morning and longer day today. This time my mom and dad came and drove us all.

 Spent the day watching games, hanging out and eating lunch and dinner. (12 hours spent in Cedar today, good thing I love soccer!)

Gentry on the other hand had to find ways to entertain herself in between games like wrestling with Jantzyn.
Gentry lost both and Calli won one and lost one. Two very hard fought games. Calli had the game of a lifetime though! It was so much fun to watch and Gentry is improving with each game. She is getting more aggressive and going after the ball more. 

SATURDAY:  8:00 am Calli Game and Medal Ceremony. Another early morning. Adam was able to come today so we all drove together with my mom and dad riding with us. 

Gentry's team didn't make it to the finals but Calli did and played in the Gold Medal Game

They played against Cedar who Calli has a friend on the team. (Damon's cousin Jade) 

After a tough, tough game, a hard fight and Calli taking a punch to the face (The player Calli was guarding got so frustrated that while the ball wasn't even in play she turned around and punched Calli in the face. Of course the ref didn't see it but after the game the coaches went and talked to the Cedar coaches and made them aware of the situation.)  Bombers came away with Silver.

We were so exhausted by the time the weekend was over, we came home grabbed a bite to eat and went and relaxed at the new Jurassic World Movie. (Which I fell asleep in) It was a great Weekend!!!!

Last official time each of my girls will play as Bombers. Calli is now done with Club Soccer and has one season left of High School and with all the new changes coming to SUSA Bombers will be dissolved and Gentry will now be on the Heat team this fall.

Here's just some of our May happenings!

I decorated Gentry's teacher's door for Teacher Appreciation week. He is a huge Nascar fan.  

Went on double date with Calli and Damon to see...

Brian Regan at Tuacahn.  This was our 3rd time and he was funnier than ever. 

Played ultimate Frisbee with Terry and his family. 

We celebrated Mother's Day 

I was showered with gifts and love all day. 

Everyone in the kitchen...but me making dinner. 

Gift for my mom. 

I also got to go to "Mom's and Muffins" with Gentry. 

Went to Sadie's year-end Choir concert. 

Celebrated lots of graduations. 

Stacy, Lacey and Jadyn all graduated from college and Jorrin, Talen and Morgan (not pictured) graduated from high school. 

I made the college graduates these gifts. "Orange you glad's it's summer" with all things orange. 

And all the high school graduates these. 

With lot's of graduations, comes lots of celebrations too. Lunch at Pasta Factory and dinner at the park.

For the girls last day of school they got mugs with Swig gift cards and then...

Ate at Iggy's for our annual School's Out Lunch!

Afterwards Calli went hiking with friends in Gunlock and as she went to grab a rock it broke and she went tumbling down the mountain. 

It was so bad.  I think she was more impressed with her new war wound then she was hurt though, so that was good.  

We've been taking turns teaching FHE and this time it was Sadie's turn. Adam entertained us all by helping her hold up her pictures for the story and acted them out. 

Caught Sadie and Gentry in their swimming suits in the tub shaving their legs together. 

Went to Grandma's for a relaxing visit on Sunday and watched the kids play. 

Gentry had try-outs for their new club team the Heat. 

She made it!! Along with Hallee, Jantzyn and the rest of her Bomber's team!

Hung out at Grandpa Peterson's until wee hours of the night visiting with Isaac and Ben families and playing with cousins. This picture was taken at 1:30am. 

To end out our busy month we got to go see the new shows at Tuacahn this year for cast and crew night.

And when you Wish

Love Tuacahn and love the shows. We have seen just about everyone that has come to Tuacahn and we now have a new favorite. When you Wish was amazing! It is a must-see. Well, I think that wraps up our May. On to Summer where things will hopefully run at a much slower pace.
