Live Nativity

We were asked by Shelyce Maxwell to participate in Tuacahn's Live Nativity. Cains were asked as well. Adam opted out to be the videographer. The girls were excited, Mati was so excited, Levi was ecstatic and Ausin was hesitant but they all came out and had an absolute blast. I think we created a few monsters. They were bit by the acting bug and ended up loving it...Austin included. :) I even overheard them say "We should do this every year" haha!

Sitting in the green room waiting for instructions.
While Calli and Levi took advantage of an empty stage all to themselves.
We were watching them on the monitor in the green room. We ran though our rehearsal and then got costumed.
Austin, Mati and Levi were Soldiers. They loved getting their cool costumes.
They were so cute helping each other get dressed. All of us girls were angels with Calli as the head angel.
These two were both the lead in their roles and ate it up. They were totally in their element.

Sadie and Austin had so much fun just being involved and being together.

All of us on the stage in between the two shows

In the green room waiting for the 2nd show to start. We had such a fun time in the green room hanging out and visiting. (and watching Calli and Levi "rehearse")
Sadie watched Austin get ready to go on before heading to our spots.
Gentry got to hold and "blow" the horn.

After both performances Shelyce had hot chocolate and donuts for everyone. We met up with Adam, grandma and grandpa and Levi's mom April. We visited and took pictures and of course were the last ones to leave. It was such a fun experience. One they will remember and continue to talk about. We went back to our house for late night pizza and games.

Thanksgiving

November 24, 2021
Thanksgiving this year was with the Losee's. After last year of being just us and Calli having covid, it was sure nice being with family again. We had about 50 of us in attendance.

Lane Losee Table :) We had all five of us plus Austin, Levi and Mati. Kevin and most of his family was there along with grandma and grandpa and Brandon.
We ate dinner at 2:00 and hung out for a bit visiting and playing games before leaving to light the Ivins Star at 5:30 pm.
Ta Da! Adam and Ryan hiked to the first ledge and lit her up! Gentry, Mati and I met up with Jenni at the base of the mountain with hot chocolate to support and cheer them on.
We spent the rest of the night playing games...
and eating sugar cookies made by Calli and Levi
I sure love this family of mine. I have never laughed so hard than I do when I am with these people. They truly are so funny and I love having them all around. I cherish these moments. Such a great Thanksgiving!
Gratitude Thanksgiving Post!

Calli's 24th Birthday!

Calli turned 24 on Monday, November 22nd. We celebrated on Sunday.

We had her favorite, Street Tacos for dinner and then opened presents.

She got tickets to "Laughing all the Way" an event with Jon Bytheway and Hank Smith (she loves Hank Smith), new scrubs, Don't Miss This Journal, Dumbbell Rack and a Weight Bench.
Calli and Levi putting her rack together!
After presents we had cake and ice cream!
The next morning Levi posted this on Instagram. He made her breakfast in bed. So cute! He took her out to dinner that night as well. Happiest Birthday Callister! Love you So much!!

Sadie Hawkins

Saturday, November 20th was SC Sadie Hawkins Dance
Gentry looked gorgeous as she headed out on the day date. They picked up Jimmy Johns and headed to Zion. She drove to Zion. She was so nervous to do so but did great. They spent the day in Zion hiking, shopping and having their pictures taken.

The Girls

After Zion they drove straight from Zion to dinner. One of the moms catered the whole meal. They went to the dance and on a moonlight hike and hung out at one of the girls houses until midnight. She had a lot of fun and was glad she went! Can't believe she is a senior and this was her last Sadie's.
