February 2022

February 2022
Adam and I met on the 22nd
Adam's Birthday is on the 22nd
We were married on the 22nd
and Calli was born on the 22nd. So we knew that 2022 was going to be our year. On February 2, 2022 Adam surprised me with this!
So cute! Card, cookies, Flowers and an UP blanket.
He is always saying that we are Ellie and Carl:)
The Salon Be celebrated it's 1st birthday!
Adam and Ryan spent an entire Saturday helping bishop Galbraith fix his UTV trailer and then added a hitch to each of their trailers.
BYU Baseball began with a scrimmage here in St George.
Austin started out with a home run which is always a blast!
We faired the cold weather and went and watched both games, Friday night and Saturday morning.
It was worth it!
Friday, February 11th, Adam and I rode down to Las Vegas with Ryan and Jenni to pick up a load for Ryan’s work and then went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory.
Some of the huge letters we were picking up for a sign.
While in the Yesco yard we found this sign ready to go out on the strip and got a quick picture.
Thug Life!
Again, loving our Family devotionals each Sunday!
This was Calli and Levi’s lesson. So simple, yet so powerful. They had us read ridiculous scriptures about bears eating children and unicorns and donkeys that talk and then finished off with two of the most unbelievable  scriptures, the story of Virgin Mary and the crucifixion and talked about how easily people believe those two scriptures but can’t believe that Joseph Smith saw God, translated the Book of Mormon or was taught by angels. So good! I love that we take turns and get everyone’s outlook and ideas!
On Monday, 2-21-2022 We went to Wood, Ash, Rye for Brandon’s birthday!

The next day was 2/22/22 on a Twosday!
Had to acknowledge it through texts to Adam!
That same night we had our Relief Society Birthday Party

The activity committee dared me to wear a tutu for 2/22/22 day. I wore it while setting up but not to the activity that night:)

Janet Bird in the white is on our committee and was my young women leader in the Green Valley ward. Kinda fun
Post by Shauna!
Our theme was “A heart like his” complete with a waffle bar!

We had an awesome musical number by Bella Gillette. Playing a Les Mis arrangement and then Bishop Galbraith spoke to us.

We had a great turn out and a lot of fun

Thursday, 2/24/22 Calli and Levi went snowboarding to celebrate his last day at his 9-4 job. He quit to be self employed and concentrate on building trailers. They kept sending us the best videos of them on the slopes. They are the cutest!

That weekend Sadie, Gentry and I went to a few of the parade of homes.

Levi’s mom had one that Levi and Calli were helping with Friday night so we went during their shift. He had told us about an art price that he had hung up for his mom and she made him turn it around because it was upside down. We laughed so hard when we found the art and had to take a picture by it. To us there was clearly no right or wrong way but Levi said we must all be uncultured! Haha!
Just had to snap a pic of Gentry’s chair for memories. She collects stickers and is covering her entire chair with them. So fun!
Saturday, Adam and I got out on a hike. It was the first time back since surgery and felt so good!

Beautiful skies on my drive to work!

We ended the month driving to Enterprise for Gabe’s mission farewell. He will be serving in Boston Massachusetts.
In between the farewell and luncheon we made a quick visit to the cemetery.
It was a beautiful day!
Which resulted in a snow ball fight. When desert rats see snow….
Calli taking shelter

Love you Grandma
Gabe did such a great job!
See you in two Elder Cook. Love you! February was a fast paced and fun month but we are ready for Spring!

Gem Studio

The girls had each received Gem Studio Gift Cards in their stockings, so we went on a mother/daughter date (first of many, I hope) to redeem their cards.

It was a 3 hour workshop and so much fun!

We each made two rings and everything was made from scratch.
We welded...

and hammered, and shaped...
and polished...

and laughed. We had such a great time being ring designers for the day!
My favorite Gems!

Itchy Butt Muffins in the house! (Name of our family group chat) After Gem studio we invited dad to meet us for lunch. It was a fun-filled day with my girls!
