Camping

March 14 - 16, 2024
Another Spring Break Coral Pink Adventure in the books!
Love the views at Coral Pink
Pulling and getting stuck...like usual. This spot is hard to get to but's the best spot and totally worth it.
Tying the trailer to the razor
Me putting the petal to the metal and pulling the trailer out of the sand
All set up and ready for a fun weekend.
Love this spot!
The others were on a ride when we arrived, so we took off on a ride by ourselves for about an hour. By the time we got back, everyone had returned to camp.
We ate dinner and then gathered in Ryan and Jenni's trailer for games.
The next morning (Friday) The "boys" all went for a ride. I opted to stay in my nice warm trailer and play solitaire and listen to my podcasts.
 It was so relaxing.
That afternoon, we all ventured out on a ride.
Look at that snow.
Made it to the look out!
Amazing!

On the way back, our machine lost their brakes...no big deal Haha!
We had Charleigh and Nora in with us at the time and Scott grabbed them to ride in his machine...just in case.
They were able to tie the lines and give us enough resistance to make it off the mountain. We were joking that we'd just put a mattress on the back of Ryan's machine and we'd just run into him when we needed to stop.
Pine Tree Forest

So cool! That night, we ate dinner, got in cozy's and played games again until well into the night.
We woke up to it snowing.

We set out on another ride, Adam assuring me, we'd be okay...we were! :)

It was SO muddy! There were times, we could hardly see out of our windshield.
Speckled with mud. At one point, Adam, got one speck on his nose and was commenting on it and I looked at him with all my speckles and we just busted up laughing.

Die hards!!

Believe it or not, this is not the muddiest we have been.

Hidden Lake

We have been here before, but took Scott for his first time

Just Adam!!

On the way back to camp we planned to ride back through the sand dunes but...
After the first big hill, our machine just shut down.
It takes talent to break your machine not once but twice on the same trip. Oh well! They managed to get it running enough to get us back to camp. We ate lunch, hung out and then packed up with most of us needing to be home for Sunday!
The worst part of muddy rides, is having to load a muddy machine is the trailer.
Such a amazing views driving home Saturday night!

Another great, fun time with great. fun company. Love this tradition.
