Senior Ball 2015

Calli was once again asked to her school prom by Damon Anderson. I think their making a habit out of this!
She walked into the house to find a trail of candy kisses and a poster that said "I kiss the ground you walk on. Find my name in one of the kisses. The trail lead her to her room...
Which he trashed.
She answered back with a dump truck and load of dirt that said...
Hidden under the dirt was a rock with the word "YES!" It was quite a sight seeing Calli and I "stealing" this dirt from Hell Hole. That little dump truck was heavy and you had to hold it with both hands or it would dump. We were trying to crawl back up a big hill to get to the car while holding this thing. Calli was carrying it and I was pushing her from behind. She tripped and dropped the truck and we lost a lot of the dirt. We had to go down and try again. The second try we made it...barely! We were laughing so hard.

The day of the prom was also the Parawon Dance Competition...again. Sadie needed my help this year with costume changes and hair so I went to the competition. Adam was planning on staying to help Calli but then got nervous about me driving in the rain so he came too.
After their day date of hiking and lunch, Calli went over to my mom's house to get ready for pictures, dinner and the dance. We were on our way home when she sent me these...
Putting on her Sparkly Vans.
 my gorgeous Princess!

Calli being Calli. Even princesses have to have a sense of humor.
 My Favorite Picture!
 Damon picked her up there.

Cute Couple!
And their off.

Cousins by birth, Friends by choice.
After pictures they came to my parents for some world famous dutch oven ribs, potatoes, chicken, salad, rolls and cheesecake. Grandma and Grandpa are always so good about supporting their grand kids.
After dinner they went downstairs for a bit and played pool and the wii and then headed to the dance.
She came home happy and exhausted which = a great day!

Sadie's Dance Competition

Sadie had her last dance competition of the year in Parawon. It was a long but fun day. She danced in 6 dances and we were there from 10:00 am-6:00 pm
The team getting a pep talk from Misty before going on.
This is how Adam does all day dance competitions. He finds a comfortable spot and entertains himself until Sadie comes on then he gets up, watches and cheers and then lays back down. He's such a trooper and great dance dad.
Awards: They did fantastic. They got superior or superior plus in all their dances, judges choice award, Best technique award, and overall high for their advanced Jazz. Next up, Nationals at Lagoon! Way to go Sadie and Eminence!

THE "Watch"

Have you ever come across an item that just sings to you when you see it and you know you have to have it? Well, we had that moment during our last trip to Disneyland. Adam came across this watch and as soon as he picked it up I knew he had to have it. It is SO Adam. First, he LOVES watches, has an obsession about them, second he LOVES black and red and third...it's Disney!!!
We bought the display because that's the last one they had and skipped out of the store happy with our purchases. The next day when Adam looked down he noticed it had moisture in the face. We sadly walked back to the store to return it.  They called around to a few other stores and no one else had one either.  Adam left Disneyland without his prized souvenir.

As soon as we got home I got on the phone and computer and started searching for "THE watch" Every time I hit a dead end. The watch had been discontinued. I googled, I called, I researched for weeks with no luck. I contacted Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney shopping, Amazon, Ebay and all other websites or stores that sell Disney Park merchandise....nothing. We had to come to the realization that it was gone.  As Adam's birthday approached I started looking for another Disney watch. I found a nice one and bought it. He loved it! But still "THE watch" was on my mind. (Once I get my mind set to something, I have a hard time letting it go) Over the next few months every time I was browsing the internet or Disney Store I would type in the item number...just to see. Well, one day it popped up at the Disney store. I about freaked. I put it in my cart and went to teach preschool. As soon as I was done I ran in and... my cart was empty. Typed in the item again and it was sold out. You've got to be kidding me!  Tried and tired again and again.  Called Disney shopping and they said just keep checking back.  I continued to check back daily, sometimes hourly.  It showed up again.  I bought that thing so fast.  Since that day it has showed sold out. I got the very last one on earth!!! haha! The following days I kept expecting an email saying sorry, that item isn't available. Even when I received the shipping confirmation I thought they sent the wrong one.  Lo and Behold it came just in time for our anniversary.

Adam was shocked and I was so happy that I was able to surprise him because he knew about it being discontinued. He asked me how I did it and I told him I basically had to sell my soul to the devil. When each of the girls saw it they all said "Is that THE watch" HAHA!

Wedding Bells

April 11, 2015
My little brother Brandon got hitched. He waited 36 years to find the right one. The wait was worth it. We love Tracy and are so glad she is a part of our family. Brandon and Tracy both have the best senses of humor. We knew from the start that the wedding would be amazing with each of their personalities taking a role. They didn't stick to any rules or guidelines, they did what they wanted and made it their own. The first rule they did away with was having only groomsmen stand by Brandon...While they were planning the wedding Brandon had asked Tracy who he picks to stand on his side. She said whoever you want. You pick people that have been there for you, supported you and that you would want by your side as you get married and he said "Then I want my sisters."  It was so cute. They came over with a box all decked out with wedding stuff inside, a poem about our relationship and some pictures and asked my sister and I to be his Grooms-maids. I was so honored.  The next few months were all about wedding planning. They chose to have a Destination wedding and to make a whole weekend out of it. Brandon's friend had just opened a bed and breakfast in Kanab and this was their first event.  It was one big party all weekend long, between meeting Tracy's friends and family, to decorating, to the rehearsal, to the bridal shower/bachelor party, hanging out, visiting, the ceremony, the dancing, and the celebrating!

Friday, decorating for the big day.

Some of the older nieces and nephews helping decorate...or just messing around, I'm sure.

Playing games.

Hanging out, visiting and getting to know each other. (We bonded so well with Tracy's family. We just love them. We were all so close after the weekend, it was sad to say goodbye. They live in New York)
Bachelor Party.
We kidnapped both the bride and groom and had a surprise shower for Tracy and the guys had a bachelor party for Brandon. After the parties we got back to work. After all the finishing touches were done that night, the guys took the kids back to hotel to swim while the bridesmaids stayed and made our bouquets.
We got back to the hotel late to find the kids still swimming. We fell into bed exhausted.
We got up bright and early the next morning for another full, busy day.
Tracy had brought in stylists to do our hair. It was so fun. She had also given each of us personalized plush
robes. It was so much fun just walking around and hanging out in all our matching robes all morning.
After everyone was ready we had pictures.

They didn't have the traditional ring bearers. Instead they had "ring guards" with sunglasses, badges and lock boxes with the rings inside.
My family. My parents and us siblings.
Just me and my siblings.
Brandon and his sisters.
We sure love him.
Brandon and his brothers.
Stacy and I patiently waiting for the ceremony to begin so we can walk down the aisle.
The Ceremony
Tracy said that she wanted people to feel lots of different emotions during the ceremony: She wanted lot's of laughter, tears, and also a time to feel the spirit. She did it!
I loved the aisle. They had all the nieces and nephews color and write messages on the sidewalk with chalk.
The Bride
Brandon's side.
My brother Kevin who is a bishop performed the ceremony.
While her brother Dan was the MC of the event.

Sand Ceremony
Exchanging the rings with the "ring guards"
First kiss as husband and wife.
Mr. and Mrs. Losee....Let the Party begin! One thing I noticed about this wedding and others I've been to was that "Utah Mormon Weddings and different from "New York Mormon Weddings" They know how to Party. It was all about the food, dancing and celebrating the rest of the night!
Toasting the couple with our sparkling apple cider. The cousins were all pretending they were drunk.
I love this picture of Stacy and I with our nephew Austin.  We look like the drunk aunts that everyone hopes doesn't come. (It had gotten cold so we just put on our robes to stay warm until we could slip away to change.) Haha!
Sharing the warmth.

After dinner there was lots of dancing and partying

And last but not least was the Smore's bar with some of the yummiest Smore combinations I've ever had.  After the party ended we stayed to clean up and take down lights and then went back to hotel and crashed again, after a long busy day. Slept in the next day, packed up and said our goodbyes. We drove through Zion and our way home and had a relaxing rest of the day. Congrats Brandon and Tracy we love you both!
