26th Anniversary Weekend!

We had planned to go camping this weekend but when the weather forecast showed 20-30 mph winds we postponed it for another week. Instead we just stayed close to home and celebrated all weekend long! On Thursday, I worked because I had taken off Tuesday to go to Provo, so Adam picked me up for lunch. We went to Cafe Sabor.  

After work we ran a couple errands and stopped at cold stone for ice cream. Friday night we went to dinner at Cappalettis and ice cream at Culver’s. 

Saturday morning we went for a hike and then to breakfast at The Crepery! Nothing like breakfast, lunch and dinner to celebrate 26 years of bliss. 

We went and explored the cliffs behind the Snow Canyon campground...again this turned out to be one of my favorites hikes.

Sunday, the whole family was together for dinner and Gentry’s patriarchal blessing! It was a great day and a great weekend! Happy Anniversary Adam! Here’s to many, many more to come! 

 

Mom Peterson’s Birthday and BYU Game

April 20th the “local” Peterson siblings had planned to get together for mom’s birthday...much to our surprise Ben and Duke pulled in just as we did. I was shocked. It was emotional seeing them all together celebrating their mom. I had to snap a picture!

We had all 6 siblings there, Lyman, Gentry and I (Gentry got to ditch school because we were hitting the road right after lunch to head to Provo) Lindee, Travis and Kassandyra, Jaxon and the kids. We had quite the crew and it was so much fun. It was fun to be with family again!!

Made it to the game just in time. Sadie had gone up Friday with friends but the friends were heading back on Sunday. Sadie wanted to stay for the Dixie game on Tuesday. We decided we’d drive up Tuesday, go to the game and then bring Sadie back. 

So glad we went! It was a great game and BYU came away with the win for sweet revenge from the last game. It was a fun quick trip but ended up throwing my whole week off. Haha! It was worth it though!

Bathroom Overhaul

After 10 years for the 1/2 (preschool) bathroom and 15 years for Sadie and Gentry’s bathroom it was time for an update and overhaul!

Sadie and Gentry’s bathroom went from yellow and blue duck theme to a more natural nature look. Love the way it turned out. It suites them both and is definitely more mature than duckies :)

 

The 1/2 (preschool) bathroom went from Dr Suess to Country Farmhouse. Love it! I find myself just going in to look at it! :)

Both were so easy to do and affordable. It was a lot of fun! I love redecorating and giving a room a fresh new look...on to the next project!! 

Junior Prom

April 10, 2021 Gentry's Junior Prom.

For their day date they went skimboarding and then to Chick-fil-a for lunch.

She loves it too, she always get's so anxious about these kinds of things. 

But she doesn't need to be, she always looks so beautiful!

Gentry's date and Hallee's date were going to pick them up together so we went over to Hallee's to wait for them.
