December

Besides Christmas fun and traditions in December, we did manage to squeeze in a little bit of life as well.
We had out "LAST EVER" pack meeting. Just a party mainly. We had pizza, had the boys tell their favorite scout memory, awards and then played crazy stress ball.
So glad to have that calling done, though Brother Flowers got pretty emotional when he was releasing all the scout leaders. It's been a big part of the church for as long as I can remember.
December brought with it, lots of stunning winter skies.

Our projector just decided to give up the middle of December so we replaced it. Adam had to crawl in the attic space to pull a new cord for it. I "helped" or I was suppose to be helping but I just filmed him and laughed. It was so funny. I'm so glad he is patient and has a sense of humor...I think I'll keep him.

Calli celebrated being home for one year!
December 11th! How can that be?
We had our last activity days for the year.

Grabbed a quick pic of the girls at church because they all looked so darn pretty. I LOVE pictures with the three of them. They are my favorite.
This was sooo funny. We were sitting in the foyer (like we usually are) and some of the YW leaders (Glory Galbraith, Phyllis Lefler and Jaycee Jolley) came out of the chapel and noticed they had all wore black and said they needed a picture. So hey posed for the picture and asked Jaycee's husband Brady to take the picture. Just then Dwayne Lefler walked up and asked why they were getting a picture and he laughed and said "oh of course" and then immediately started looking around and grabbed Brady and ran over to Adam and said "oh look, we are all wearing white shirts, Matchy, matchy, come take a picture of us. It was too funny! Love our ward
That afternoon we had tithing settlement. When we walked in Bishop Galbraith's office, he insisted on taking a picture of our family. He was so excited to see all of us there. We sure love our bishop. We walked in for tithing settlement and walked out having a PPI/Family Counsel. He talked with each girl about life, decisions and goals. It was pretty neat.
My co-worker Vicki was leaving for the holidays and must have not wanted to be forgotten while she was away. This is what I walked into on Friday after my day off on Thursday. My desk...
calendar...
bathroom mirror
and even my tissue box got plastered with sticky notes.
We got her back though. We toilet papered her office and left a picture of me on her screensaver as a welcome home.
December also brought Austin's birthday. Sadie and I had fun putting this box together for him. She is so creative. Holy Cow. Cannot believe that December came and went and we are staring down the barrel at 2020. Here's to hoping it's as great of a year as 2019 was to us!

Christmas Eve, Christmas Pajamas and Christmas Day!

Seeing that the BYU Bowl game was on Christmas Eve this year, we revamp our schedule and mixed things up a bit. A few days before Christmas Eve we had our "Christmas Eve Night" We opened pajamas...
and invited the "boys" this year. They were such great sports. Jason loved it. They were the first ones dressed so I had to get a picture of just them. Jason said "when you make it in the majors Austin, I'm posting this picture and saying 'I knew him when, we even had matching pajamas'" Haha!

My Crazy Crew.
My Gorgeous Girls!

We opened a few gifts, brought out the munchies and played games.
We love our new pajamas. They are so comfy. I loved seeing the girls and Jason in their pajamas over the next couple days.
Christmas Eve we still made sure to make it to China Palace for dinner...
before having a crew over for the bowl game. It was a good game with a bad outcome.  We had family stay after the game got over and play games and visit.  We didn't get to bed until 1:00 am. We were hoping the girls would let us sleep in a bit but...
They were up and ready by 7:00am

I love that my girls sit in a circle and take turns opening presents and watching each other.
Trying out the new massager.
Adam was pretty excited about his machete.
Sadie asked for a new hairstyling apron but could never find one she liked, we gave her an IOU dollar store apron.

Sadie also got a T-shirt quilt with all her activities growing up: dance, soccer, softball cheer and track
They were thrilled to all get air pods.
Calli's Pile. Some of her favorites were: scrubs, mission blog books, apple watch, air pods and robe.
Gentry's Pile. Some of her favorites were: air pods, clothes, moon lamp, polaroid, and zit zapper.
Sadie's Pile. Some of her favorites were: Dr Marten Boots, Nike Shoes, Lulu lemon leggins, air pods and quilt
My favorite gift!! I had a friend in my ward paint this of my girls with the Savior. I love it! Some of my other favorites were Mickey backpack from Calli, Adidas sweatshirt from Sadie, Bowls from Gentry and a blog book from Adam. Adam's favorites were: Air pods plus, BYU hoodie, Nike shoes from Sadie, Gun cleaning kit from Calli and Chocolate Orange from Bo.
After presents we had omelets for breakfast, Sadie went back to bed and slept for a few hours, it started to snow and then we had the Peterson's over for Christmas Dinner.
The "cool kids" room. Amber and her family are here for the holidays too.  It was such a great day! Everyone was happy and grateful!
