Oh my gosh, my kids are such good sports. We had been doing devotionals all year on Sunday but the last couple weeks we've fallen off the bandwagon. I told the girls we needed to get doing them again. Calli texted on Sunday and asked if we were doing devotional so I thought I'd better pull something together. We did Scripture Minute to Win it. I was so worried because this could either be really good or really bad. To my pleasant surprise they were all really into it and got competitive. It was so much fun. We were laughing our heads off.
Tower of Babel.
We would read a little scripture or excerpt from the story and then they would race to complete the challenge.
The Good Sarmatian
Racing to see who can carry their victim down the stairs first
The Lost Sheep
The Sign of the Dove
Wrapped in Swaddling Clothes
Seek Learning
Loaves and Fishes
Samuel the Lamanite
Upright Waters
Armor of God
This was such a good one to end on. They went above and beyond the call of duty and then even had a battle afterwards.
Oh. my. gosh. We were dying. Between Sadie's chin strap and Levi's helmet we were laughing so hard.
Let the battle begin
It was a fun lesson. One I hope they don't forget too soon. I'm so thankful that they put up with all of my shenanigans.
