April Fools and Conference Weekend!

Woke the girls up April Fool's morning with donuts for breakfast. 

 They were sure disappointed when they found vegetables in the donut box instead of donuts. However, I'm too much of a softey and had some donuts hiding in the pantry.
Gentry was also invited over to Hallee's for their April Fools Dinner

They ate spaghetti and each one had a different utensil they had to eat with. Gentry got a miniature whisk

. She had a great time.

 The girls always look forward to conference and their goodies.

Sadie used the break between sessions to practice her skill of trampoline skating.

 I worked on a project during both sessions and was lucky enough to have Bo help me. 

We made our fish extender pockets for the cruise and I am in love. 

Easter 2016

A few days before Easter Adam and I were out on a date and Calli and Gentry were home. Calli is such a great babysitter and sister. We came home to find them sitting on blankets downstairs watching a movie and coloring Easter eggs.

And also, this! Not sure what was going on but they had fun!

The day before Easter was such nice weather we had a yard day. 

 Adam getting his garden going. I love that he loves working in his yard and takes pride in it.

 Gentry loves helping Adam mow the lawn.

Easter Morning.

 A few years ago the Easter Bunny made a maze with string that each led the girls to their baskets. Gentry hasn't stopped talking about it since, so the Easter bunny decided to do it again. 

 It led them outside, 

 and throughout the entire house going in and out of every room. 

 Sometimes they had to crawl under or over...

But it was worth it, along the way they gathered dollar bills on their string. Gentry carefully, collected her dollars and made a pile and wound up her string as she went. Calli did the same but put her dollars in the waistband of her shorts, when we looked at her weird she smiled and said "just like a stripper" and then there's Sadie...

 She just wound the string up as she went money and all.

 and Sadie's was in the coat closet. They each got a dress, swimsuit, cover-up, flipflops, money, candy and a bucket for our beach day in San Diego before the cruise. 

 Took several tries to finally get them to stand and smile. Love these beautiful crazies of mine. 

 After church we went to my parents for an Easter BBQ.

Calli and Christian went for a walk on the golf course and by the river and ended up falling in. They were soaked and cold. They were good sports to put on grandma and grandpa's pajamas.

March Madness

Just some random fun in March

 I love looking across the hall from our bedroom and seeing into Sadie's room. I'm gonna miss seeing her do her homework on her bed long after bedtime when she's old enough to move out. 

 Just a typical end of scriptures in the Peterson home. 

 Found Sadie and Kada having a little candle light dinner on our deck...haha, they were making a movie, but we still got a kick out of it. 

After much asking and persuasion I finally took these two to the puppy barn to hold puppies. I think their smiles says it all.  

Had our biannual Bachelor party. Always a fun night.

Christian's mom Mindy wanted to take some pictures of these two. We teased Calli that they looked like engagements. But they were adorable.

 I was asked to help the decorations committee for the Stake RS conference. 

 It turned out amazing!

 Calli's has had a knot on the back of her neck that has been bothering her for a few months. It's been causing migraines and causing her a lot of pain. Took her to a chiropractor. She's still doing sessions but I had to snap this picture because she hates this part and just whines. It's kinda funny. 

Well the day has finally come when Gentry has passed up Sadie in height. Took Gentry in for her 7th grade shots and the Dr. said she's on track to be 5'7''. Maybe Adam will get his basketball player after all. It's been crazy, it's been busy but it's also been a lot of fun too. Bring on April!
