On the Tuesday before each weekend series the tickets go on sale. They only sale a limited amount and if you are not on the computer right at 10:00 am the odds are not in your favor. We had gotten lucky and was able to get tickets to all the games we went to until this one. It was the last game of the season and senior night so we knew the odds were not great. We were right, tickets were gone before they even went on sale to the public. But we were still planning on going to Provo to bring Sadie down who had been there all week for the BYU games and for the SC state championship games. (SC won and took state). Austin was able to get her a ticket for all the games which she went to but she opted to hang out with us on Saturday. We figured if we were there anyway, we might as well try. We drove up Saturday morning and picked her up from Hallee's sister's house where she was staying and went to the stadium to check out the situation. As we were driving around we saw a group of people sitting on the steps across the street at Marriott Center watching the baseball game. We decided that was a great spot and joined them.

There were about a dozen of us and yes they were pretty darn good seats.
View from our seats!
Austin on 3rd.
With BYU Radio and our binoculars, we didn't miss a play.
Football Stadium.
Marriott Center. There were 5 home runs during this game. (4 by BYU) Three of the balls flew out to where we were sitting. Some of the others we were with got the balls.
After a couple innings, we grabbed our chairs.
With our chairs and treats we were set. We were so happy to have seen the people sitting here and know it was an option. I have a feeling this won't be the last time we watch a game from these seats. WE had a good time with the others watching as well. We kept saying that we had box seats and should order in pizza:)
Of course, I always have to get a picture of the Y
After the game we went to the Stadium so Sadie could meet up with Austin and his family for dinner.
Pictures on the field by 3rd base.
QT's
Snapped a picture of the dug out while down on the field.
Adam, Gentry and I took off for some shopping and dinner.
Love driving by the MTC
Can't wait to drive by and see missionaries here again.
Quick stop at the BYU creamery for another bucket list item...so yummy. We had had BYU ice cream at the games before but never from the Creamery on 9th.
So happy!
On Sunday, we went to explore Bridal Veil Falls. I hadn't been since I was little and didn't remember much. The ride there was so pretty. I was taking it all in.
Amazing trail to the falls.
Bottom of the falls. We knew there was a trail to get to the top of the falls so we ventured on.
Middle of the falls.
It was so pretty up close.
Strike a pose!
Adam, of course had to venture on even further.
This trail was very nerve racking. It had rained the night before, so it was mucky and slippery. There was also not a great marked trail or well traveled trail. Gentry and I were okay going up but was worried about coming back down with it so slippery. We went as far as we dared before turning around and heading back down.
But with Adam as our guide, he found a way better trail to go down than the one we went up.
Making our way back down!
I spy Austin and Sadie. They had been in Murray with this parents and grandparents but came to meet us. They were waiting for us down at the bottom.
Back on level ground.
It was such an amazing and beautiful hike. So glad we were able to do it.
