Senior Ball!

Calli's First Formal Dance
April 26, 2014
Sophomore
The day of Senior Ball was a busy one. Each of the girls were involved in something. Calli had an early morning soccer game at 8:00am that day. She was up at 6:00 and had to be there by 7:00.
 #26
It was rainy and cold. Calli loves the rain and says there is nothing better than playing soccer in the rain, so she was one happy girl. They won 11-0. As soon as the game was over we rushed home to get ready for her day date at 10:00.
Also, that day Sadie had a dance competition in Parawon.  Adam was such a trooper and volunteered to take Sadie and spend the day at her competition so I could be here to help Calli get ready.
Sadie did 4 dances and they were gone for about 6 hours. 1:00-7:00pm. Great Job Sadie and Thanks so much Adam!
Gentry also had a soccer game that afternoon.
With it just being the two of us, we stopped for shakes on our way.

 Gentry's #3.
It was rainy and cold for Gentry's game too. Gentry hung out with me under the umbrella to stay warm and dry when she wasn't playing.
Okay, back to Senior Ball.
A few weeks before...
Getting asked.
"Will you be my Tootsie and Roll with me to Senior Ball?"
Calli was shocked when she was asked but so excited.
Answering back.
A "swag" balloon tied to a package of 100 grand. In the balloon was confetti and a note that said "100 times Yes!" We spent the next few weeks looking at dresses, shoes and jewelry.
Lacey came over the night before and painted her nails.
After her soccer game she came home quickly got ready and was off. They went caving in the lava caves with glow sticks and then made homemade pizzas for their day date. She was home by 4:30 and had until 6:00 to be ready.
Getting ready for pictures, dinner and the dance.
Last but not least Converse high tops.
My gorgeous Princess ready for her Ball!
After looking at a few dresses Calli finally found this one... (in Jorrin's Closet.) Haha! She instantly FELL in LOVE with it and knew it was the one. Thanks Jor!
The color was so stunning on her.

Calli rocking her Dress with some Converse.

These are my favorite pictures...absolutely beautiful!!
Gentry loved watching Calli get ready.
A girl and her Truck.

Calli and her soccer ball. Once a soccer player, always a soccer player.
It was a Mascaraed Ball.
Damon putting on Calli's Corsage.

Calli pinning on Damon's boutonniere. She actually did really well.
 The cute couple
Calli and Damon
Just as they were getting ready to leave, the doorbell rang. It was Tyson, Lacey and Travis wanting to see Calli before she left. It was so funny!
 And their off.

Opening the door for her.
They went out to Ivins Reservoir for pictures.

 Love this one!
 The group.
She knew most of the people in her group so they had fun.

 "Swag"

After pictures they went to Weston's house for dinner. I went over and helped Kami serve.

Count on Kami to give them a 5-star restaurant experience.
The decor was awesome and the food was amazing.  Adam and Sadie pulled back into town during dinner, so they ran over to see her in her dress before they took off to the dance. Adam and I stayed to help clean-up and hung out and visited for a while.
Calli had a great time at the dance and walked in the door at 11:58 pm to a packed house. We had Tyson, Lacey, Travis, Jadyn and Jake over for a movie.
She was happy to see all the junk food and didn't waste anytime getting out of her dress and finding something to eat.
They ended up staying until 2:00 am just talking and laughing. After such a long, busy day. We were exhausted and fell into bed that night or morning.

Piano Recital!

On April 21st Sadie and Gentry had their Piano Recital.
 Sadie playing "Morning"
 Gentry playing "Party Song"
Gentry was so funny. she sat down at the piano to play and then realized she had forgotten to introduce herself so just quickly stood up where she was said and said it, then sat down and played. It was cute! Sadie had a God's Messenger performance this same night so Sherri put the girls first and as soon as they were done we headed out to the performance. They did a great job!
