Adam's Birthday!

Adam's 42nd Birthday!
Took him to lunch to one of our favorite places, Pepper's. He was on the phone taking care of some work issues when I took this picture. Poor guy, never has a moment of peace...even on his birthday!
Later that night we went and saw Beauty and the Beast. (A member from our ward rented out the theater and invited the youth and a few families) it was fantastic.
After the movie we came home and had Butterfinger Lush...Delicious!
And then opened presents. I'm hope by his smile he had a good day! HAHA!
He got a new temple tie, socks and all white Nike shoes for the temple. A Barcelona Spain tie pin, a new steamer because our's sucks, two shirts and a collapsible wagon for camping and fishing.

Happy Birthday to my better half! One who makes life worth living, who can still make me laugh everyday, who makes me feel beautiful and appreciated, who loves his family unconditionally, who has spent more hours than I can count at dance competitions and soccer games supporting his girls, who is hardworking and provides for our family, who is always up for an adventure, who knows me better than I know my self and loves me anyway, who is outnumbered 4-1 and never complains, who would and has dropped everything to help his "girls" out of a jam: (running out of gas-numerous times, dead car batteries, car accidents, boys troubles etc) who is always worthy and willing to give a fathers blessing, who has taught us to not take life too seriously with his most used quote "It is, what it is" and who has never missed a day or an opportunity in the past 22 years to tell me he loves me! Happiest Birthday Wishes Adam! I hope it's the best day yet! I love you!! ❤

Spring Break!

For Spring Break we just did a staycation this year. We took off for one day and went snowboarding but for the most part we had fun just sticking close to home.
Saturday Night the girls kicked off their break with a Dance 4 dance off.

It was fun watching them. These three have so much fun together!Afterwards we went to a late night movie and watched Fantastical Beasts.
Sunday: We went to church and then had Lyman, Marilee, Duke, Adrianne, Isaac and Lindee over for a outdoor BBQ.
Monday: The girls enjoyed sleeping in and hanging out with friends while I worked. That night we had their friends over for a FHE movie night.
Tuesday: We headed out early in the morning to Brian Head and spent the day Snowboarding. We had such a blast. It was so much fun and the weather was perfect. It was warm enough that we just needed our snow pants and hoodies.

Getting on the lifts. It was a great time to go, there were hardly any lines.

Adam! This was Adam and I's first time snowboarding (We've skiied before). Our first run was horrible. It took us about 45 minutes to get to the bottom because we were constantly wiping out and then it would take forever to get back up. But on our second run it all clicked and we were able to find our groove. There's definitely a learning curve but once we found it the rest was history. We were able to continue making our runs with out any falls and making it down the slopes in just a few minutes.
It was exhausting and quite hard on the body. We would get to the bottom and just die for a few minutes.

Calli was in her happy place! She snowboards as often as she can. She loves the park with all the jumps and stunts. She was a good teacher and very patient with her beginner family.
Gentry was in heaven. She loved every minute of it. By the end of the day she was making run after run with zero falls. It was fun to watch her get more and more confident.
Sadie made it look so easy. She got up easily the first time and rarely fell. She was so fast too. I had a hard time keeping up with her.
"Hey, mom get us all dabbing on the lift!"

The three girls always jumped on together so Adam and I had a lift to ourselves.
We had a great time hanging out, chatting and just trying to keep up with the girls.
There were times we had the slopes to ourselves.
Halfway through our day Calli said we were ready to graduate from the bunny hills and she took us up Giant Steps. Such an amazing view.
We loved this hill. It wasn't too much harder just ALOT longer. We spent the  rest of the day at Giant Steps.
Because this slope is so long the lift is High Speed. It gets you to the top in no time.
Calli showing us a jump.
Gentry
After snowboarding we drove past the cabin since this would be the last time Calli gets to see it before leaving.
Wednesday: The girls were so exhausted from snowboarding that they were quite happy to be able to sleep in the next day.
Thursday while the older girls were with friends, Gentry and I had a fun day together. We went shopping at the mall. She found some cute swimming suits for Easter. (Look at her poor face, her and Sadie got snow burned pretty bad)
That night we had a St. Patrick's all green dinner since I knew I wouldn't see them much Friday night which is when St. Patrick's Day was. Later Gentry went swimming with Weston and Shaylee.
Friday: After I got off work I took the girls to the BYU practice they were having at Dixie High School. It was hot and busy but still pretty fun.

Saturday: We worked in the yard and then went over to Issac's that night for Games. Overall, I think it was a pretty fun week. Anytime the girls don't have to go to school is good day.

I Love to See the Temple!

March 9, 2017 Calli went through the temple for the first time and received her endowments.
Shopping Trip to get all the temple necessity's
Loved seeing "three" bags ready to go!
 Calli's first step to Spain!
Heading into the Temple for the first time.
She was a rock star. She did amazingly, never questioned anything and handled it like a pro. She's excited to go back, especially as an ordinance worker.
 Proud Parents after the session!
We had such a great support system there, family, friends, co-workers and ward members.
Celebratory Ice Cream afterwards at Iceberg!
Adam kicking back! He was actually ready to go but he just finds a comfortable spot and patiently waits for the rest of us. (Ultimate father of all girls)
Calli wanted to get the full temple experience so a week previously we went to the temple and did baptisms,
then she was able to go through for herself and do initiatory and endowments and then a few days after went back and did sealings. She is really excited to go back now as a temple worker.

SC Soccer Alumni Game

SC got together some of the veterans to play against the current girls soccer team.
 Cheers from the veterans
Cheers from the present players.
Calli and Sadie both played...on opposite teams. I wasn't quite sure who to cheer for but it was a lot of fun to watch. Most of the time Sadie was playing wing and Calli was defender on the same side and would go up against each other. There was quite a bit of friendly bantering and pushing going on between sisters.

The current team won the veterans 4-0. Calli said they were all winded within the first first minutes:) but they had a blast and loved seeing everyone again.
After teh game handshakes and HUGS!

 The Veterans.
SC girls Soccer Alumni!..young and old!
Sisterly Love after the Game. Loved watching these two battling it out on the field and then coming together at the end.
Sadie and Kada's cheer post game!

So glad that my girls have sisters and good friends!
