The most dreaded and anticipated day had arrived.
We all woke up bright and early.
Sadie had to be to the high school for Cheer Camp at 8:00am, so we had decided to go to breakfast first.
We went to the crepery where we were able to just sit back and visit.
Dropping Sadie off at cheer camp was hard. They both just hugged and cried. It was kinda funny though as other parents pulled up to drop off their cheer leaders, I'm sure they were thinking we were over emotional to just be dropping off our daughter for a week.
Last hug. It was hard watching Sadie walk in teary and sad, but she was fine and ended up having a wonderful time. (Cheer Camp - Another Post)
As we were pulling out of the parking lot Calli saw the SC soccer camp as they were loading up for UVU camp. She jumped out and they all ran towards her yelling "Calli, Calli" she hugged them all, some of them cried and we said our goodbyes again.
After dropping off Sadie we had an hour before we needed to head to the airport so we went back home to finish getting ready and finish packing Calli's bags. Gentry was Calli's shadow all morning. While Calli was getting ready Adam and I snuck some surprises in Calli's luggage.

And a pillow case that we had all written on
Adam - "Kick butt and take names" & "You're a Peterson, you can do anything"
Me -"Be yourself and have fun" & "You've had eternity to prepare for your mission, and you'll have eternity to reflect on it. But you only have 18 months to live it!"
Sadie - "Baptize Messi" & "Don't be sad, because sad backwards is das and das not good"
Gentry - "Hey Pookie...Guess what... I love you & "All you need is Faith, Trust and a little Pixie Dust"
We got to the St. George airport at 9:30ish and got all checked in
We had a couple hours until her flight so we just hung out and visited. Before we knew it, it was time to say our goodbyes...

Dad's Turn
How do you make a hug last for 18 months?
It was so great having Mishayla and her family there. I drew so much strengthen from them.
Hermana Peterson and Hermana Fausett on their way
Going through security
Watching them through the glass walk to the boarding area
After watching them go through the gate we headed to the observation area to watch the plane take off.
It was seriously the cutest thing...As they walked from the walkway to the plane they each paused, looked up and waved.
Plane pulling away
And their off
Just a speck in the sky. We have no doubt that she is going to be an incredible missionary. She has been ready for so long. Seeing her doing what she has dreamed of for so long made it (a little) easier to let her go. This was something I often wondered throughout the process if I could actually do but it's amazing how at peace we have felt these first few days. We can do hard things!!
Good Luck Hermana Peterson! We Love you!
