Besides Christmas fun and traditions in December, we did manage to squeeze in a little bit of life as well.
We had out "LAST EVER" pack meeting. Just a party mainly. We had pizza, had the boys tell their favorite scout memory, awards and then played crazy stress ball.
So glad to have that calling done, though Brother Flowers got pretty emotional when he was releasing all the scout leaders. It's been a big part of the church for as long as I can remember.
December brought with it, lots of stunning winter skies.
Our projector just decided to give up the middle of December so we replaced it. Adam had to crawl in the attic space to pull a new cord for it. I "helped" or I was suppose to be helping but I just filmed him and laughed. It was so funny. I'm so glad he is patient and has a sense of humor...I think I'll keep him.
Calli celebrated being home for one year!
December 11th! How can that be?
We had our last activity days for the year.
Grabbed a quick pic of the girls at church because they all looked so darn pretty. I LOVE pictures with the three of them. They are my favorite.
This was sooo funny. We were sitting in the foyer (like we usually are) and some of the YW leaders (Glory Galbraith, Phyllis Lefler and Jaycee Jolley) came out of the chapel and noticed they had all wore black and said they needed a picture. So hey posed for the picture and asked Jaycee's husband Brady to take the picture. Just then Dwayne Lefler walked up and asked why they were getting a picture and he laughed and said "oh of course" and then immediately started looking around and grabbed Brady and ran over to Adam and said "oh look, we are all wearing white shirts, Matchy, matchy, come take a picture of us. It was too funny! Love our ward
That afternoon we had tithing settlement. When we walked in Bishop Galbraith's office, he insisted on taking a picture of our family. He was so excited to see all of us there. We sure love our bishop. We walked in for tithing settlement and walked out having a PPI/Family Counsel. He talked with each girl about life, decisions and goals. It was pretty neat.
My co-worker Vicki was leaving for the holidays and must have not wanted to be forgotten while she was away. This is what I walked into on Friday after my day off on Thursday. My desk...
calendar...
bathroom mirror
and even my tissue box got plastered with sticky notes.
We got her back though. We toilet papered her office and left a picture of me on her screensaver as a welcome home.
December also brought Austin's birthday. Sadie and I had fun putting this box together for him. She is so creative. Holy Cow. Cannot believe that December came and went and we are staring down the barrel at 2020. Here's to hoping it's as great of a year as 2019 was to us!
