Calli's Visa

We got word the week before telling us Calli's visa came in and that she needed to be to UVU May 25th at 11:30 to pick it up. It was such an amazing opportunity.
Road tripping early in the morning with Calli...
We had a few minutes before the meeting so we walked around the campus for a bit.
I was pretty excited to find the "Losee Center"
The meeting consisted of about 40 missionaries all heading to Spain together.  Some are heading to Barcelona, some are heading to Madrid and some are heading to Malaga but they are all heading to the Madrid MTC together. The meeting was awesome and so informative. The consul of Spain was there to hand out the visa's and tell them all the in's and out's and what to expect while traveling to Spain. He was so educated. The information was awesome.

As he handed out the visa's he had the missionaries going to the different missions line up on the wall together. It was fun to see who she would be serving with.
Calli had hooked up with a couple of the girls on instagram earlier and had made plans to do something after the meeting.
They decided to go to lunch and then through a session in the Provo City Center Temple.
Such cute girls. Calli loved getting to know them better.
Coming out of the temple to head home. While she was in the temple, Adam and I went to lunch, Window shopped and just drove around. We had a great time just taking a break from some of the stress we've had lately.  We were all glad we went.

Ironman

May 6, 2017
Sadie and I went and volunteered with the SC Cheerleaders and other moms at the Ironman
Sadie with some of the squad
Loved the signs they made. This one was my favorite.
Chloe and Sadie getting ready to cheer with their cow bells
All lined up on the side of the road ready to hand out waters.
It was a full day. We were there from 7:30-1:00. Luckily the weather was good and they kept us fed and hydrated. It was fun!

Traditional jump pic Sadie is really loving it so far!

Sadie's 1st Senior Ball!

It seemed just as soon as Preference got over in February, Sadie was being asked to Senior Ball in April.
She was asked by Sam Valedez. She answered him back with a basket of Easter eggs filled with candy that said "I'm Egg-cited to go to Senior Ball with you" (of course we didn't get a picture) She didn't know Sam very well and was a little nervous but still excited.

Sadie and her group went to Bakers Reservoir for games, hiking and hanging out. She came home having a great time. She was Same was really fun.
My Beautiful Sadie ready for the dance. A couple weeks before the dance Sheri had called us and said she ordered a bunch of dresses from JCP and that Jaicelyn picked the ones she wanted to keep and asked if Sadie was interested in trying any on before sending them back. We went right over and Sadie found two that she really liked.
Daisy and Kada came to help Sadie get ready!

Sadie and Sam off to pictures, dinner and the dance
Cute Couple!

April Shinanigans

Her room is seldom clean but it's probably going to be one of the things I miss the most once she gone.

Calli has been working as a temple worker. She works every Friday and Saturday. They keep her running but she loves it. I can't believe how much she has learned so far.
I've been super impressed with her motivation. She goes at 6:00 in the morning on Fridays and then again on Saturday afternoon and hasn't missed a day.
She texted me this picture one day of her cool new name tag.

Sadie trying on a couple of prom dresses we purchased. She loves the blue one the best but will probably wear the black one first and save the blue one for her junior year.
Gentry had another soccer game. I loved this play. Each time there was a corner kick the team would line up and then they each crashed the goal at different times in different ways. It was pretty fun to watch.
After her game we went to the Art festival and checked it out.
Each year the YW/YM go repelling. I'm so glad I'm back in young women's so I can go too. Gentry was a beast. She got right up there and did the small climb. (She had gone last year)

Thumbs Up!

After the small climb Gentry and Hallee decided they were ready for the BIG ONE.
Check it out. That is them on top.

She loved it! Sadie came but didn't really feel like repelling. She hung out with us leaders and visited.
Good looking group of youth right there.

On my way out the door to go repelling, Adam had ran home and parked behind me. He came out to move his truck so I could get out and forgot to put it in park. It crashed into our garage wall. It didn't do a ton of damage, just enough to ruin his day. Grateful it wasn't worse.

He did get a new truck out of it though and he loves it!!
