March Madness

March has been so busy, it literally flew by, which explains why I have so little pictures to document.  We were gone 3 of the 4 weekends either camping or to baseball games. During the week we were all just working, going to school and trying to stay a float until the next weekend.
 Another amazing sky!
March 22nd, we celebrated Adam's birthday. I took donuts and juice into work that morning, so everyone would know it was Adam's birthday;) That night we to dinner at Cappelettis's with Cains and Flowers and then to see Ryan Hamilton,  a comedian at Tuacahn, then to DQ for ice cream. It was such a fun night with food, laughter and friends. We got home late and opened presents with the girls and had cookies and ice cream.
He got a new BYU shirt, some hot chocolate mugs for the trailer, clay pigeons and a thrower and two concealed weapon classes. He has been wanting us to take this class together for so long. I'm pretty nervous about it but just keep telling myself "This doesn't mean I HAVE to carry, it just means that I CAN" He was pretty excited and had a great day.
The last day of the month Travis and Kassandrya had a gender reveal party at our house. It was so fun seeing everyone, eating good food and finding out what they were having.

 Throwing darts!
It's a...Girl!! March was a whirlwind even though it doesn't look like we did much.  The girls are all so busy with work and school and hair school and friends we just ran, ran, ran. Calli has been dating up a storm, we meet a different guy about two times a week.  She said her life can be summed up like this "Same pools during the day, different guys at night" Haha! yep, pretty much, although...she has narrowed it down to one guy in particular named Daniel. We'll see where it goes. Happy April!!

BYU Baseball

Oh my goodness, I'm already addicted. BYU Baseball season has been so much fun so far...and we're only to the half way point.  Its been fun getting to know the game better, (learning what RBI's stand for haha) and having someone to cheer for.  We've made it to a couple home games and they are so much fun.
We get anxious right before each game waiting for them to list the starters and see if Austin's name will be among them and the last 3 series (12 games) it has been. He has been playing 3rd base and hitting.  He's also pitched for 3 games as well.
One of the games we went to, it was Disney Days...What could be better.

Picking up our tickets from the VIP table. Austin always puts Sadie's name on a ticket but this game we all got one...what royal treatment:)
Being Disney Day there were Disney Princesses walking around taking photos as well as Cosmo, who threw out the first pitch.
Each game they have a Little League team come and walk out with the players, this was Austin's little buddy.
#25 up to bat. He had an incredible double, that hit the back wall. He was pretty excited...so were we

I love watching Sadie watch the games...she gets so nervous.
Good thing Tav and Britt came so Emery could distract her a bit

The crew. It was fun having them come hang out with us.
We usually stay over one night and then take him to lunch and hang out before coming back. This time we went to lunch and then to Schells and walked around and rode the Ferris Wheel.

When we're not physically at the game, we're either watching or listening to them. Again, Sadie nervously watching her boy.
The following pics are just some random pictures from a couple different games that I found on Instagram.

The team is doing amazing!! They were projected the first of the season to come in 6th of the conference. (Only the top 4 team goes to the WCC Tournament)...currently they are 2nd having just taking down St. Mary's who were first.  It's been a great season to far, can't wait for the rest!

Spring Break - Camping

SPRING BREAK March 15-17, 2019
We made plans a month before to go camping with the Cains the first week of March to Coral Pink Sand Dunes, but as we watched the weather and saw lots of rain in the forecast and almost freezing temperatures it was clear it was not a great weekend to go. So we bumped it back a couple weeks for Spring Break and crossed our fingers. As it got closer we started second guessing ourselves again because of temp and wind. No rain this time however so we just decided to go for it. We packed for cold weather hoping we weren't going to be miserable and in the trailer the whole time and were off. Turns out it was perfect. The weather was great and only got brisk when there was a breeze or at night but in the trailer with the heater on we were comfy and cozy.
We borrowed Adam's friend's Razor so we could all go out riding together. It fit great in the toy hauler.
As soon as we pulled into our campsite and had the razor pulled out, the girls were off and running.

Our camp spot was awesome, there were tons of trails all around us.

The girls could take off on their own but were still close enough for us to hear the engine and their screaming and giggling.

They stopped long enough for some lunch and then we were off to go riding all together.

The Razor and Cains CanAm both only fit 4 and we had 9 of us but Charleigh is still small enough that they can fit 5 when needed. So we each took turns riding with them, so we'd all fit.
We headed towards the Sand Dunes. First bump we hit Sadie's face mask flew over her eyes so she couldn't see. I made her stay like that long enough for me to snap a picture. Haha!
It was gorgeous!

Man we had sooo much fun! We rode for about 4 hours. Flying over hills, climbing steep hills,   skidding down hills we couldn't see the bottom of until our tires were hanging over the edge and it was almost too late, riding sideways until just before you fill like your going to flip and then going down head first all while screaming and laughing. Sometimes with our hands in the air and sometimes clinging on for dear life.

We stopped halfway through our thrill ride for some sightseeing and to slow our hearts down for a minute. Haha!
We did a 1.5 mile hike out to some Indian Ruins in a cave.
It was pretty cool!
Our crew, minus Adam who was the photographer.
Calli, Sadie, and Gentry found themselves.

We played around in the cave for a bit before hiking back out.
The views were amazing.  There is sand, pine trees, rocks and mountains all in one place. It's pretty cool!
 Our fam bam!!
 The kids...and Ryan.
Gentry's turn to ride in the CamAm. We got back to camp and ate dinner and then sat around the fire with hot chocolates and then played games. The kids were in our trailer playing games, watching movies and playing hide and seek while we were in the Cains. It's amazing how well they all do even with the big age gap.
We all slept great. I even got so warm that I kicked off my blankets during the night. Adam and I were up and ready for another fun filled day but the girls were still zonked so we jumped in the Razor and Ryan on his dirt bike and we went out exploring. We came across a canyon with Dinosaur Tracks.
It was awesome.
We hunted around for a bit and found quite a few tracks.

 It was so cool!

We decided we needed to bring the crew back after breakfast and show them our awesome discovery.
 We ate breakfast all together.
It was so nice to see Adam relax, destress and have a blast.
After breakfast we took off again and charted our own course back to the Dino Prints.
Calli and Sadie took turns driving.
The girls were pretty mesmerized by the whole thing and loved looking for more.

After exploring there for a while we took off for the dunes again....this time finding the perfect hill that we could catch air on.

We did it over and over again, hoping we would live to see another day before each jump. Actually, the CanAm is so big and smooth that you feel perfectly safe it in.  You never really feel like your going to flip or anything but the razor was another story, it was a rougher ride and really got your adrenaline pumping with each hill. Ryan would take off for a hill and get to the top or bottom and look back to see if Adam was going to do it, sure enough every time he turned around here came the razor.  Boys....
In the above picture it shows our tracks from jumping. On the right you can see the tracks right at the top of the hill and then the left of the picture shows were we touched down. We were getting quite a bit of air.
We drove to the very top of the Dunes and played around for a while.
Gentry taking over the wheel while on top.
Sadie was teasing Calli that she is not very affectionate so Calli was jumping on everyone showing them her affection.  After another fun filled day in the sand we headed back to camp. Again, we ate dinner and then played games before tucking ourselves into bed.
Sometime during the night a Leprechaun visited and left all the kids St. Patricks Treats.
We slept in on our last morning and just took it easy, eating breakfast and visiting before cleaning up camp. Calli was so happy to have finally been camping. She said she would dream of going camping while on her mission. I asked her if it was everything she hoped it would be and she said "yes"
While we finished packing up the trailer, the girls all went on a final ride.
We all had so much fun! I don't know how we are going to top this one, but it will sure be fun to try.
