Last Transfer!

Last  transfer!!!! Oh  my  goodness  I  can't  believe it!  I  am  on  my last  transfer!  I  have  7  more  weeks of  being  a  missionary. So thought  I  was going  to  be  finishing  my mission  in Zaragoza  but  the  Lord  done  pulled  a  fast  one  on  us. We got the call  and  found  out... We  are  both  leaving... before  there  were  8  missionaries  and  now  there  will only  be  4  for  both  wards, crazy! So I  will  be  heading  back  to  my  home,  to the  South of  Spain  to  Catarroja!  It's  a  little  tiny  town  with  all Spaniards  and  my  companion  will  be  the  baby  of Hermana Ligon  so  I'm  super  excited. My companion  is  a  native  from Peru.  So  I'm  pumped!  So  I'm  so  sorry  but  literally  I do not  remember  anything  at  all  from  this  week!  A  ver...  (Let's see) we went  to  Bilbao  again  for  Zone  Conference,  and  preparation  day  and  then  we  did  despedidas,  (goodbyes) which  was super sad, honestly  I  was  not  ready  to  leave,  saying  goodbye to  all  of  our  members and  friends  broke  my  heart.  The members here  are  absolutely  amazing. Something that  I've  realized  this  transfer  is  that  for  us in  Utah, for  example,  it  is  easy  to  be  a  member  when everyone  around  you  has your  same beliefs.  But  in  Spain the  young  people  here  are so strong because they have to be. They are some of the strongest members who I have ever met in my life and just have the strongest testimonies. So ya just currently on the train heading to my new and last area. It was so fun I got to see Hermana Requena, Barton, and Hermana Vance! I love the mission, and feel so blessed to have this opportunity.
Happy Halloween from Hermana 1 and Hermana 2.
I sent these shirts to Calli for Halloween!

Talen's Home

Talen returned Home October 17, 2018
His Homecoming was October 21, 2018
SC Girls State Game October 20, 2018
Adam and I had to work so the girls rode to Salt Lake Friday morning with grandma and grandpa for the girls semi-final game and then the final game on Saturday. It was a very intense couple of games but they were able to pull it off....SC took State.
Adam and I took advantage of having no girls home and went to dinner, ice cream and then home to watch the Jazz game.
As soon as I got off work, Adam picked me up and we hit the road. It was so much fun just us road tripping!  We made it to Ben and Stacy's around 8:00pm.  Grandma, Grandpa and Gentry were there while Sadie was with Austin and his family. We hung out and visited until around 11:00, then drove to the hotel where we met up with Sadie. The next morning we slept in a bit, headed to breakfast and then to Talen's Homecoming and then Open House.
Adam and his Nephews!

It was so good to see and visit with everyone.

Everyone was head over hills for Sam.
I think Adam is getting ready to be a grandpa. Every time I turned around he was taking Sam from someone. Haha!

Week 70

Well this week is the last week of the transfer and then we are on to my very last transfer...all is well😅Well, anyways this week was full of miracles as always, a ver.. Basillio has a baptism date! Also the other day it was completely pouring rain and so we knocked a building and literally every single door we knocked we found someone who had interest, it was amazing!!! We also had a man contact us this week saying the missionaries met with his family and he wants to meet with us. Also this miracles man from Nicaragua who had a cute wife who speaks perfect English and a cute little baby boy and he wants to meet and teach us how to make Gallo pinto and teach his family!!! God is just raining down blessings on us. Always just a little special experience I had this week... so I have never really been worried about family or been home sick before. I always just knew God would take care of them but I was really worried lately just because of heart problems that run through the family but I was just super worried so my companion commented that we could fast for my sister so we did. We fasted for her the day before her heart appointment that all would go well and she wouldn't be nervous. Anyways so while we were fasting one morning I was reading my scriptures and I had a feeling that I sound read in Doctrine and Covenants, so I opened up right where I was in D&C 100:1 and read and the very first verse I read "Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you...your families are well; they are in mine hands." ...I almost cried. I read it again and my heart just stopped. You know that moment when you read or hear something and it just like pierces you in the heart but in a good way like by the holy ghost. It was like that haha. It was literally just such an answer to my prayers and exactly what I needed in that very moment. God is so loving, and really knows all of us personally and our circumstances he really does care about us personally. Not even that but it just amazed me so much that he had it all planned out from the beginning he would have had to, from the day I wanted to read D&C and all the days I could and couldn't read it so I could receive that help in that exact day I needed it. I really do know that God loves and cares about us I have always felt I had such a hard time getting answers to prayers before the mission but I have never received so many answers so clearly in my life and so much. Also happy birthday shout out to Sister Losee love ya ash!!!  Love you all! Love, Hermana Peterson

Sticker Police!

Hey hey! Well this week was the best! Conference was absolutely amazing, so many new changes, and honestly really just deepened my testimony of the prophets and that they really truly receive direct revelation from God! I'm super excited about the changes because it's so true, literally every day we contact people and tell them we are from the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and they always say they have never heard of us until we say Mormons, which is always followed by them saying "ooohhh your Mormons!" Then usually something like "I've seen the movie" so that will be so great, really just bares testimony that we are Christ's true church not just another church but his! It makes complete sense. I feel like God is just doing all or the fine tuning and correcting before the second coming. Also with the 2 hours of church, Zaragoza already we only have 2 hours of church right now #Revelation. Anyways this week we saw a really big miracle!  So a couple weeks ago we were trying to do pass-bys and find a man but his direction was written wrong and so we weren't sure where he lived. We knocked on the door we thought it was and the cutest women opened the door, turns out she just moved here from Nicaragua with her family, her mother died when she was little and so she was raised in a family from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the brother went on a mission, she listened to the missionaries and went to church with the family but she got married very young, moved and never was baptized or continued. But the story doesn't end there, we went back to pass-by her and she wasn't there but her son was, and he came down the stairs and we taught him and set another time to go back and visit him. So we went back this week and him and his little sister where there. So we taught both of them the restoration and they loved it! They had so many good questions and the little sister was asking us and telling us that is was so hard and confusing because there are so many churches we then told them "well there was actually a young boy about your same age that had that same question" we explained the first vision and the spirit just completely filled the room so so strongly. We bore our testimonies of how we came to know it was true and how they could know. We invited both these jovenes (one 22 and the other 14-15) to be baptized and they said of course. We are going back next week and are going to try to teach the whole family together. This is Gods work. The mission is just so fun! We had some fun moments this week. So something really big about Spain is the jovenes just make stickers and just put them all over on the Streets, and so me as my companion started sticker hunting to find all the best ones! So we found like sticker paradise on the back of a stop sign so Hermana Robinson like"yo get on my back"  So I'm on her back trying to get off all these stickers and she just says "Hermana we gotta go!!!" And I look up and there is 2 police men parked in front of us laughing at us. So we done sped walked away real fast...Wow the mission is weird. Also got my flight plans to go home that was super weird got a lot of mixed feelings going on but it's happening but all is well. Well love ya all bunches and thank you for your prayers love you!!💕

Brownies - 68 Weeks

Hey hey fam bam y amigos! Well another day another dollar! We did another mate morning this morning with the district as we watched the sunrise by the giant cathedral, #onlyinspain  Honestly just trying to recall what in the world happened this week, every single week just goes by faster and faster, it's kind of scary honestly. But.. a ver... Well we met with Stephanie (the girl from Venezuela with cancer who is publishing a book) she is absolutely amazing and literally our best friend! We took her to a family home evening with all of the jovenes in our ward and we loved it! It was so fun.... but then after they put out food, and this weird black looking thing, Someone told me it was brownies and I thought, ahh they probably tried to make them for the Americans to be nice and burnt them so I'll be nice and eat one.... took a big ole bite... plot twist, it wasn't a brownie, but blood pudding... literally they explained it to us as pig intestines that had been soaked in pig blood... I have a strong stomach and all but I about lost it and almost thew up😂 I'm pretty sure that should be against the word of wisdom pero Bueno. Que más...Well we thought it was a genius idea to make a ton of nachos for district meeting but Hermana Robinson got super sick and was up all night throwing up, then Hermana Jenkins came in with a broken ankle so me and Hermana Davis did our own little intercombio and went and taught a familia from Nicaragua, and helped a lady move and she bought us cookies and chocolate milk so it was a good day. Also an entire family of gypsies stopped us in the streets so we taught their family. I also started reading Jesus the Christ this week and wow! The gospel contains so much more than I ever thought! I realize the more I learn the more I realize I don't know anything😅 I honestly don't remember anything from this week, so sorry!  But the work is going amazing! I love every single day of the mission!
