Happy Anniversary to us. Due to the virus circumstances our anniversary this year took an unexpected turn. Instead of celebrating in San Fransisco like we had planned, we had a quiet night at home and then went out adventuring that weekend.
He always gets me flowers and I love them!
Curbside Pick-up from Viva Chicken on our bed...
while watching the crown.
Afterwards we went for a walk. We tried to get an anniversary selfie but...
could never get a great one...This is Us! Honestly, it was the perfect anniversary with relaxation, yummy food and watching our current favorite show together. I still love this man.
On Friday, April 24th we both took off early from work and headed out camping at Enterprise Reservoir. Love this picture and love our caboose who still likes to hang out with us. Sadie had to work and so Calli volunteered to stay with Sadie so it was just the three of us.
Daddy/Daughter
As soon as we got settled we hit the trails. There are so many more trails to explore than we knew existed. We had a great ride. I love the views and cool things we find along the way.
Adam got a internet booster so we could get service right at our site and talk to the girls everyday. Adam helping Gentry get on the trailer to set up the antenna.
Love this view out the back of the trailer.
Gentry had been asking for tin foil dinners the last few times we went camping, so she was thrilled to finally get them. We even had banana boats for dessert. She was in Heaven.
Taking the kayak to the reservoir for some fishing and a row around the water.
Adam is in heaven too.
Trying her luck from the shore.
The nights by the water are always so beautiful!
Our site. We found a great spot. It was a good thing we went up early Friday, because by Friday night the place was packed. People were cramming in any site they could find like sardines...so much for social distancing. But we kept our space. Our spot was big enough for another trailer but we kept our trailer, truck and razor spread out to take up as much room as possible so no one would try and squeeze in. It worked. We had the top of this little mountain all to ourselves. I felt a little guilty but we are still supposed to be distancing ourselves, so I used that reason to be a little selfish.
Amazing night sky with the moon and venus. We sat around the fire and enjoyed the stars.
Gentry loving her banana boat.
Love these kind of nights. Hot chocolate and games.
Adam woke up bright and early the next morning to fish while Gentry and I slept in.
Breakfast of champions.
My favorite game Ticket to Ride with my favorite guy.
This poor truck was pulling his trailer around to the other side of the reservoir and got stuck. It took several hours and tons of people to finally get him out.
So many campers...
and razors. It was crazy.
Our little mountain
Grandpa and Grandma Peterson came up for a ride.
Adam moving the obstacles out of our way.
On our ride we found the cutest little grove of trees.
After our ride, grandma and grandpa left and we headed to Enterprise for a couple hours. We stopped by for a drive-way visit with Isaac and family, went to the cemetery to see mom Peterson and ran to family dollar for some ice cream.
A man and his grill. I love that he loves all things camping.
Another amazing night!
Made for a good night of fishing.
He got one!
Loved seeing all the fires pop up around the lake at night.
The next morning Adam talked Gentry into getting up early with him for more fishing.
Dragging the boat back to camp so we could clean up and head home. We had such a great time. Even though we were supposed to be in San Fransisco, I'd settle for camping with Adam any day of the week just to spend time together. Happy 25 years together. I love our love.
For our anniversary I got Adam a new inverter for the trailer and he let me get our garage doors painted. BEFORE
AFTER
I love it!
