Week with Liam

May 10th-15th
Levi had to go to Texas for 6 days so We spent 3 days at Calli's and then she spent 3 days with us. It was so much fun getting to spend time with Calli and Liam everyday. I even took Levi's shift for the night which I absolutely loved but by the end of 5 nights, I was exhausted. I love watching Calli be a mom. She is the cutest and best mom ever. Liam is so lucky to both Calli and Levi.
My view for the most of the week!

I can't with his big eyes and chubby cheeks.

He looks so tiny in his bassinet

Car ride to grandma's

Looks like someone is moving in for a month, not just a couple days.

Lot's of helping hands at grandma and grandpa's

He is becoming more alert and smiling everyday and is it just about the funest thing ever!

He LOVES his hands. We are thinking he might be a thumb sucker because he tries and tries to get that thumb in his mouth.
His little sleepsack!

So stinking cute!

He LOVES his fishes. Calli plays a projector at bath time with fishes that swim around and he loves it. It is part of this nightly routine.
He also LOVES grandpa's chest. He sleeps the most soundly when on grandpa's chest.
The cutest little clenched fists.
Nightly walk in the stroller, although he quickly realized with grandma and grandpa around that he would rather be held and look around on our walks rather than sit in his stroller.

Riden' Koda! Haha!

Look at that smile!

At the end of the week, Calli bought me this cute hydro jug to say thanks for taking a nightly shift.
I love it! It was so hard to see them go at the end of the 5 days. It was a dream spending that much time together.

More Renovations

The chair that caused so much stress has finally found a home. I fell in love with this chair while renovating the living room but just couldn't make it work. Then Adam mentioned putting it in the bedroom, end of story. I love it!
Finally figured out bedding and I couldn't be happier. another check on our to-do list!
Adding more rock to the outside.
Ever since we did more rock a few years ago, it has bugged me :) It didn't looked finished, stopping where we did. so we added more to the front.

Much better!
And, when you give a mouse a cookie...We decided to do the back pillars as well, mostly to cover some rust stains that were coming through the stucco from the sprinklers constantly hitting it.
What a difference! They look so much better!

We still have a list of things we'd like to do but we and our wallet need a break. Haha!
Hopefully, no more renovations for a while.
