Back to our favorite spot at Coral Pink with Galbraiths and Cains. This is from my front porch.
Adam taking the machine for a spin around camp,
while I found a spot in the sun to relax and read.
Love camping and love my trailer.
Love this view.
WE drove up early Thursday morning, got set up and hit that dunes Thursday afternoon. Adam and I went up without the kids and they all joined us the next day/night.
All the kids having blast climbing, jumping and rolling down the sand dunes.
Adults turn.
Adam and I sand sledding...
going...
going...
gone. We made it all the way to the bottom. Ryan was nice and came and picked us up so we didn't have to climb back up. We spent a few hours on the dunes and then came back for dinner and sitting around the camp fire.
The next morning, we woke up to a bit of snow.
Adam and I headed out on a morning hike.
just exploring!
Snow melting down the rock.
View of camp from on top.
Heading back down. The rocks were pretty slick, so we came back down on the road.
With everyone's machines full, we got these three with us for all the rides. Give them headphones and access to the music and they were happy as can be singing their little hearts out.
We drove out Friday morning to the look out.
Amazing views.
Our little "family" haha!

My man!
Just us!
Heading back through the mud.
Adam's machine kept clinking and clanking, so we finally pulled over.
Men doing men stuff.
After tearing it apart right there on the trail they decided it wasn't life and death, just the clutch. The best thing would be to ride it back to camp and dive into it there. Adam ordered the part and called and had Levi grab it on their way out of town.
Driving back we hit quite a bit of snow. It was so much fun. The snow was high enough that we knew we weren't going to slide, so they just floored it and got thrown all over the place. Slipping and sliding. It was new adventure.
Made a spit top to an "Indian Walk"
Back on the snowy trail.
Adam and Ryan checking out the trail ahead of us to see if it was passable. I'm not sure if it was or not but we did it and we all made it back to camp. Back at camp, Levi, Calli and Gentry arrived. The guys dove into the machine again. Turns out we didn't need the $900 part that Levi had picked up for us. Thank you goodness. It's amazing to me to watch these guys tear into a machine and know what to do to fix it.

At this point the night took a turn, the Galbraiths grandkids were leaving, so they wanted one last ride. They all jumped in the machines to go to the dino tracks. I have seen them multiple times, we me, Calli and Gentry opted to stay and get started on dinner and wait for Sadie to call. She was going to call once she got off work and we were going to meet her in Hurricane so she didn't have to drive all the way. I had warned Adam, that she may get off earlier than anticipated and if he was still gone, I'd need the keys to drive to Hurricane. Well, she called an hour earlier 7:30pm than we thought. I radioed Adam from the trailer to the razor but no answer. I tried again and again. I started looking for Adam's truck keys...nothing. I tore his truck and trailer apart but could not find them. Calli looked for Levi's but his were MIA too. Sadie mentioned she needed to run home and grab something...thank goodness it gave us more time. We got dinner on the fire and I kept radioing Adam and getting more and more anxious. We told Sadie to text us when she left Ivins, but service was so scratchy we weren't getting all of her texts. I panicked that she would be sitting in Hurricane waiting for us, so I asked Jenni if I could take Ryans truck. I left Calli to man the fire and radioed Adam one last time. Just as I was getting the keys from Jenni to head down the mountain by myself, we heard machines. Adam and Levi came ripping in, realizing that they had both taken their keys, they left the group and hurried back. By this time I was so upset and anxious and I just got in the truck. Adam may have got an ear full on the ride to get Sadie but all was well once we had everyone back to camp safe and sound.

And Calli did a great job on tin foil dinners.
Another late night of smores and fires.
Early morning cornhole game.
And another early morning ride, Saturday morning. They were twinning so I had to snap a picture.
Big foot Sighting on our way to the Medicine Man Cave.
We drove and detoured and drove and detoured due to all the snow on the trails until we got to the trailhead that led to the cave to find it snowed in. We never made it to the cave but it was an adventure anyway. This was the killer hill that everyone but us made it up the day before. We couldn't understand it then and Adam felt like he lost his manhood, but when everyone tried it again, we wondered if maybe it had been the issue with the machine. Now that it was fixed, Adam tried it again...we made it. Whew!
Levi loves driving and keeping up with everyone. Everytime we did a hill, I'd turn around to make sure they had made it, and sure enough everytime, here they came.
Due to the snow the sand was so different. It was slippery and we couldn't hang as long. Made for the usual hills and little more adrenaline filled.
It's so pretty!
Swooping!
This is the "Mario Cart" trail to and from the dunes.
While we again, opted to stay behind to make dinner the "boys" took off on one last ride...
Haha! stuck in the mud! oops!
Eating dinner while cute Koda begged for a taste before packing up. Due to all the ward changes and new callings the next morning (another post) we all headed out late Saturday night so we could be to church the next morning. We pulled in around 11:00pm. It was another fun annual dunes trip!
