I'll admit it...

Okay, I'll admit it...I have another man in my life and his name is "Fernando." But it's okay, Adam knows all about him. Fernando is a guy that likes to show up every once in while and likes to send me flowers. When Adam gets off work he always makes sure to call and let me know ahead of time so I can get Fernando out of the house before he gets home.  Today Fernando sent me flowers with this note.
Ha Ha!
To bad Fernando I'm madly in love in my husband~
"Adam AKA Fernando you make me laugh everyday and I love that we can still be dorks with each other and still be in love after these many years. Love your guts back!

Fireworks!

Since we were camping over the July 4th Weekend, we had our own little celebration night with the girls.
We went swimming and then had a BBQ and then went out on the driveway and lit fireworks.
This was the first time where we have bought a pack and stayed home and had our own firework show.

When we walked outside to light the fireworks, I just busted out laughing when I saw that the girls had turned on the Christmas lights.  I don't know why they are still up. We have never left our lights up.  I guess the girls thought we needed to celebrate with them on tonight. Adam kept going in the turning them off and the girls would turn them back on again.  The next morning as I was pulling out of the driveway and noticed they were on again...they had been on all night. I'm sure the neighbors think we are so weird. Oh well!
With or without the Christmas lights on the girls had so much fun, jumping, screaming, dancing and laughing throughout the little fireworks show.
Happy 4th of July 2010!

Mom's Lunch!

June 30, 2010
A year ago today we said our earthly goodbyes to Adam's mom.
What better way to remember and honor her on this day then doing something she loved and we loved doing with her....going to lunch. She loved calling up her kids and inviting them to lunch and just spending time with them. So we went to lunch with Adam's dad and his brothers and sister.
We all went to China Palace (one of mom's favorite)
It was perfect. We all just sat around, chatting, telling jokes and laughing our heads off... just the way mom would have loved it.
We love and miss you mom!

4th of July Camping!

Another way we remembered mom was going camping in Pine Valley which were two of her favorite things.
July 4th 2008 we did a big Peterson Family Camping trip to Pine Valley and had so much fun, we decided to make it a family tradition. The following year is when mom got sick and passed away. The 4th of July Holiday was right in between her funeral and burial.  So this year we made it a priority to get to Pine Valley again.
She loved the camping sites in Pine Valley, especially the ones right by the stream.
It was so much fun to be together as a family. I love the Peterson Family and feel blessed to be a part of it.
My cute girls in their mathcing shirts so I can keep track them easier.

The end of Baseball Season!

Baseball ended for Calli and Gentry this week.
Both had a great season and loved it.
Calli was the pitcher again this season. She loves being part of all the action. She had some great plays including: Throwing quite a few srikes, getting people out on first, catching fly balls, especially one where she jumped clean off the ground and caught it in mid air, and hitting a Grand Slam, bases were completly loaded and she hit a homerun bringing in everyone and herself. It was awesome! She is sooo much fun to watch.

This was Gentry's first year and she loved it also. It might have had something to do with the fact that she was the "Teams Princess" She was the only girl on the whole team and the boys and coach were so cute to her.  When they were handing out trophies hers was the only one with a little ponytail. It was so cute!
Great job Girls!
