Thanksgiving 2012

Started the month out with a Family Home Evening lesson on Gratitude and then hung our "Gratitude Tree" in the family room so we would be reminded of our blessings all month long.
Thanksgiving was with the Peterson's this year which means... it's at our house.
Gentry helping Adam with the Turkey.
He cooks a turkey in his oil-less fryer every year and it's delicious.
This year the weather was so nice we were able to have dinner outside. We spent a lot of time outside eating...
visiting...
playing volleyball...
and celebrating Calli's birthday.
Her birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year.  Sadie stood up on a chair and said she had an announcement to make and then started singing a VERY energetic and entertaining version of Happy birthday to Calli. We all had a good laugh.

Calli also played in a soccer tournament with the Bombers over the weekend. She had two games on Friday and two games on Saturday. It was so much fun to be back on the fields watching her play.
They ended up taking first place.
Way to Go Calli!
