Calli had two separate soccer camps this year. One at UVU which is by invitation only and then one at DSU that the whole team and everyone trying out plays in. It made for a very busy summer.
UVU Camp
The Seniors, Juniors and a couple sophomores at UVU camp. Calli loves UVU camp they have a blast and get to know their teamates even better.
"Roomies" (+ Hannah) The seniors roomed together this year. She loved being the "senior" this year. They had so much fun playing pranks on the younger girls.
Heading to another game. They have games twice a day and then workshops and drills in between. It's a busy week but they still find time to have fun.
While there they bought a couple boxes of donuts and had them sent to some missionaries they all knew in the MTC. One of them was their former keeper Grace Walton.
At the end of the week they all went to seven peaks for a few hours before heading home. We picked her up in Beaver to take her straight to girls camp. She couldn't stop talking about all the fun they had. She was exhausted by the time she made it home.
A week later they were at it again, only on their home turf. They still had two games a day and activities in between only they got to sleep in their own beds. (Except the night they all had a big sleepover)
DSU Camp
I love the DSU camp because I get to go watch. She scored in her last game.
On Tuesday in between their morning game and night game the US was playing Germany in the World Cup so we had the entire team and coach Kunde over pizza and the game.
We planned on having the game on in three different areas of the house so they could all spread out but they opted to all cram in the theater room.
I think we exceeded our maximum capacity.
All 30 girls!
It was so funny being downstairs and hearing the roars, moans and cheers from upstairs every time anything interesting happened. It was so fun. These girls are awesome. I'm really going to miss being a soccer mom.
