Frightmares @ Lagoon was a scream!! Saturday, October 26, 2019 We woke up at 5:00am and hit the road. We stopped in Provo for breakfast and to meet up with Austin. Sadie jumped in with him and followed us to the park. Calli hadn't been feeling well. She slept all the way up and felt like she still needed a few more minutes. So she stayed in the car while we all got started.
Halloween at Lagoon is always fun!
First ride was the Terror Ride.
And then the white roller Coaster.
View from the top.
We then hit up Cannibal. This is one of our favorites. Austin had never been on it before, so we were excited to show him. Him, Sadie and Gentry got the front row. We all loved it.
Playing around!
Calli felt much better and was ready to come play. Adam and I walked out to meet her while the others got in line at the Samurai.
Next up, Jet Star...one of my favorites.
Lots of Spooky buildings and props made for great photo ops.
Dracula's Castle.
All together on the Tidal Wave.
The Colossus.
Gentry found Kangaroo's and was in heaven. Going to Australia is a dream of hers. After a few more rides we left the park for lunch, checked into our hotel and rested for a bit before getting bundled up and heading back over for the night.
Our hotel was a great location. This view is out our hotel room window. We headed back over and rode The Bat, walked around Pioneer Village and got in line for a haunted house.
There were about 8 to choose from. We chose the Malevolent Mansion. Once Frightmares opened, Lagoon was packed. We stood in line for almost two hours. We kept talking about getting out of line and just hitting the rides, since the ride lines weren't long at all, just the Frightmare attractions. But we decided this is why we came, to stay in line and we'd hit the rides after. We had a great time coming up with ways to entertain ourselves in line.
Getting ready to finally go in. We had met up with Austin and Sadie's friends Hobb Nyberg and Delanie Vest. They paled around with us the remainder of the time. We were glad we stuck it out. It was a lot of fun!! We stayed until closing hitting more rides and Cannibal two more times. We went back to the hotel. Ordered pizza and crashed before our heads hit the pillow.
We slept in the next morning and woke up to snow.
Breakfast in the lobby. We drove to Layton that afternoon for Ty and Lacey's gender reveal (another post) Spent time there with friends and family. Stopped at the Cheesecake Factory for dinner, said goodbye to Austin and pulled into home around 9:30pm. What a fun filled, spooky weekend!
