Enterprise Camping

August 19-21, 2022

Headed out for a quick weekend camping trip late Friday night to Enterprise. Calli and Levi weren’t feeling great and Sadie was in California so it was just Adam, Gentry and I!

Hit a rainstorm on the drive up! We drove straight to the reservoir and set up the trailer and then drove to Marvs for dinner and then to the high school for a football game!

Only in Enterprise! Haha!

Went over to Eric and Ambers and visited for a bit before heading back to our camp. We turned on the TV and busted up laughing when we saw that Adam had named it “Dams Fun Wagon” haha! 

Calli sent us her wedding video while we were camping and we streamed and watched it…again and again! I loved it! 

Spent the rest of the night Star gazing and watching falling stars from the perseid meteor shower.

Woke up and drove out to Pine Park to explore.

Short little hike

These white rocks were amazing! 

Felt like we were in another country!

I couldn’t get enough of them and HAD to hike down to the middle of them all. 

It was really slippery and the whole way down I kept thinking “how are we going to get back up” but it didn’t stop us.

It was so awesome and we made it back out alive!

Back at camp we grilled up some JDAWGS and played games while we hunkered down during another rainstorm.

After it stopped raining we wandered down for some sunset fishing.

While fishing, it started lightning and thundering like crazy! As it grew closer it started to sprinkle and we packed up and made it back to the trailer. Being parked in a hill, we decided to hop in the truck and drive around until the lightning lightened up. 

The storm made for some amazing skies!!

Back in the trailer we entertained ourselves with popular tic tok games! 

Such a fun little getaway! I love nature and spending time in it is good for my soul!!
