Elders Quorum Ride

The first Elders Quorum ride went so well, they decided to do it again. This time they invites wives but they either didn’t get the memo or no other wives were interested because Ronda Johansen and I were the only wives. (Adam had invited Curt)
We going on a ride Adam and I had done before but he really wanted me to tag along so I agreed.
We did the Whitney Pockets trial down past Mesquite by Overton. Chase Hamblin came along and rode with us. It was so much fun AND a little longer than expected. We left at 7:00am and didn’t get home until 7:00pm.
The water dam

Haha!

We had 8 machines and at least 2 people in each machine.
Indian ruins

Devils throat
We came across this vine growing out of a cactus...
When we got closer we realized there were melons or gourds growing on it. Crazy! In the middle of the desert with no water.
Red Butte gold mining town

Petroglyph Canyon

Little Finland

Last time we came we just stayed at the bottom but this time we hiked up to the top…wow! Night and day difference. It was so cool!!

Amazing!!

The rocks have eroded into fantastic fins and other shapes, hence the name, Little Finland

Adam found this throne!
King of Little Finland

Heading back we got a pretty sketchy part where we had to drive through a ditch causing our wheels to come off the ground.

There was no way to roll but we definitely laid our machine down!
It was crazy!
It was a long day but we had a great time. We got home, showered, ordered Dominoes and watched the BYU game
