April Happenings...so far!

Just some misc pictures of things we've been up to lately!
Gentry had her Tuacahn choir performance with the other elementary choirs from the district.
She's so funny. She really likes choir but doesn't like performing in front of people, her comfort zone area is not very big. We did however get a couple of waves.  We had all of us (mom, dad, Calli, Sadie, Grandma & Grandpa Losee, Grandma & Grandpa Peterson, Kami, Rylee and Raiden) all in the overflow section down front cheering on Hallee and Gentry. They did great!
Kami and I along with her brother, sister-in-law and some nieces and nephews went to the B-52 concert at Tuacahn. It was such a bizarre concert but we made it fun by making fools of ourselves dancing, screaming and singing like we were their biggest fans.
Gentry qualified to run the 100 at Snow Canyon and so I went and hung out at Field day and cheered her on
I was so stinking proud of her. She ran her little heart out.
Later that day Gentry had a dentist appointment for a tooth that had been bugging her. Sadie was so excited to walk in and see that they had new toys. She was so funny. She sat and played with this table the whole time, setting up towns, tracks, cars, buildings, people and animals. I just sat and watched her and laughed.

They ended up pulling the tooth because her adult tooth was right behind it. That night she left a note for the tooth fairy with questions for her to answer and a clear container filled with water and her tooth at the bottom. She said that when the tooth fairy dives into the water to get the tooth, the tooth fairies wings will change the color of the water to whatever color her wings are.
She woke up the next morning to find a dollar, her questions answered and her water turned purple.
BEST investment ever. For Easter the girls got ice cream makers. I can't even count how many times they have each made ice cream...so fun!
Just a quick picure of Bo in the mornings as we drive the other two girls to school. She gets all wrapped up in her blanket and usually falls back to sleep on the drive.

This is something really neat that Red Mountain Elementary do every Friday. Before school starts they all meet out front for a flag raising ceremony, the pledge, and then the national anthem.
Morning Routine
Calli and Sadie both start out in their own bedroom or bathroom to do their hair. They bring in chairs with pillows to style their hair in comfort.
Then they usually end up in Calli's bathroom together doing their make-up. I love this. I remember sharing a bathroom with my sister and getting ready together. I also remember getting ready together for the last time on her wedding day. I hope they always remember this precious time spent together each morning too.
Just a random picture of Gentry, Hallee and Savanna playing. I looked out my bedroom window and saw them all playing next door at Hallee's. They played here forever so I couldn't help snap a picture. These three have a lot of fun together.

Calli had another soccer game. Towards the end of the game a girl on the opposing team kicked the ball about 3 feet away from Calli and it flew up and slammed her right in the face. You could tell it must have hurt because her head flew all the back. She rubbed her nose but kept playing. A few seconds later JUST as our team scored Calli was running towards the sidelines with her hands over her nose and blood running down her arms, trying to get her cheering team and coaches attention. Once they saw her they pulled her out and doctored her up. Here she is on the bench with her head back trying to get it to stop. She was just fine after the game just a little embarrassed. I love what an aggressive player she is, she is so much fun to watch.
That same weeknd Eric and Amber brought Gabe down to the hospital for some tests. He ended up staying for 6 days. He was diagnosed with Crones Disease. We took the other 3 kids for the weekend.

Watching conference with the crew.
I made packets for everyone and then gave them a basket with the ingredients to make caramel popcorn.
Taking a break in between conference.

The following weekend we drove to Payson for my nephew Ethan's Baptism.
Adam enjoying his cute little juice box on the way up.
We checked out the progress of the temple on our way to my brothers. The temple is in his backyard. You can see it from his dining room window. After seeing the view they get to enjoy at every meal I decided to start petitioning for a temple in Ivins.
Twinners at the baptism.
Gentry and Maddie, Stacy and I, Kassi and Sadie (Their dresses were the same only different colors and they had on matching boots)
The plan was to stay in Payson and then head to Delta to see my grandpa on our way home Sunday, but we got the sad news just as the baptism was starting that grandpa had passed. They had given him 4-6 weeks to live 6 weeks earlier, so we were prepared but surprised how quickly he declined the last couple days especially the last couple of hours. As soon as the baptism and confirmation was over my mom and dad headed to Delta to meet up with the rest of the brothers and sisters to say goodbye and discuss funeral arrangements.  We all went back to Keven and Jen's for a luncheon. The cousins always have such a fun time being together.
Sadie and the Anikan mask that she had a blast wearing almost the entire time.
She looked so freaky that I had to get a normal picture of her as well.  We hung out and visited until 8:30 that night talking back and forth with mom and dad getting the updates. Seeing that they were not going to be back anytime soon we just decided to get on the road and head home.  (More updates on grandpa and funeral coming soon) So, far April has been very eventful.
