Started out the month with General Conference
General Conference baskets and Trail mix
For Calli's Child Development class she had to take care of a baby for two days. These are just like real babies they cry, need fed, burped, changed, rocked etc.
Calli heading to her soccer game with her baby "Nova" intact.
It took a crew to keep the baby happy throughout her soccer game. It was a lot of fun the first day but by day two and having it wake us up four times a night we were ready to see Nova go. It was fun watching Calli be a little mom. I think it's such a great teaching tool for these teenagers.
We had some devastating ward/community news when some friends of ours (Chase works with Adam) lost their 2 year old daughter. It has been devastating watching them mourn but it was great seeing the community come together for this family.
We've had quite a bit of rain lately, so what do you do on a Sunday night when it is pouring...
make a mud pit and wrestle in it of course!
Calli's idea! She is always up for an adventure
Gentry skimboarding in the front yard.
Muddy, Happy and Cold
Good Times!
We also had our annual Halloween Dinner at Kami's
I did Butterbeer, Spider cheeseball and this cake that was too scary to eat.
Finally found time to take Sadie, Gentry and friends to the corn Maze.
Sadie helped Rachel paint her room! I hope they got some paint on the walls

Went to our ward trunk or treat.
Gentry had crazy hair day at school for red ribbon week
Dinner in a pumpkin, a Fall favorite!
And look who came home. Lyman and Marilee left their mission on October 22 to drive home. We didn't expect them until Nov. 2nd but they arrived a couple days early on Halloween.
Pulling in!

Lyman and Marilee's kids and grand kids anxious to see them.

Hugs!
We went to Kami's for Chili, then met up with Isaac and Lindee for some Shadow Mountain partying and trick or treating, then to the Losee Halloween party with grandma, grandpa and Terry and Sheri for Taco salads and doughnuts, and then to our house for games. It was a full, fun day!! October was a blur. It came and went without us being able to carve pumpkins or do caramel apples this year but we still managed to squeeze in as much as we could. Here's to hoping November slows down a bit.

With Calli at Sadie's (different post) and Sadie with friends for Halloween it was just us and Bo.
My cute stitch and only trick or treater.
