Oh, the fun that December brings...
We always make it a point to go to the Jubilee of Tree's and Dickens Festival. It was weird not having anyone perform this year. We were able to just go and enjoy it!
We had our monthly craft day and made these Nativity puzzles. Love it. My favorite craft so far.
Visited with Santa (Grandpa) at the ward Christmas Party!
When Santa asked the girls what they wanted for Christmas, they said $20 from their grandpa Peterson. Haha! (Gentry had gone home with a tummy ache)
Jingle was out and about all month long, making mischief and leaving surprises. One Sunday he brought the "Best Christmas Pageant ever" DVD.
12 Day's Christmas!
We built a manger scene each night by reading the Christmas Story. We also did it for Terry's family gift and then did a secret Santa for a neighbor. We soon discovered we are not good at Secret Santa 12 days in a row. There were nights we forgot and had to deliver two the next day, there were some nights we delivered it so late we didn't dare knock and just left it. We came away with scratches and bruises from running into rocks and bushes trying to make our escape and we were even caught once. Haha! It was an experience!
Temple Christmas Lights with Dardy Wagner and Tristan Craig.
Main Street Lights! While here Calli jumped off the wall and landed on a pot. It broke into pieces. We put it back together the best we could and then called St. George City the next day to confess. They were cool and didn't make us pay or replace it, just thanked us for calling.
While we were walking in Lins one night we saw Kristen and Joely. We sent them a text of us somewhere in the store and said Hide and Seek see if you can find us. As we were going around the corner they spotted us and took off running after us. They caught us but we all got a good laugh!
Adam went and checked on Calli one night about midnight and found this. She had made her some food and was eating it in her room at her make shift table.
We have had some really gorgeous skies lately.
Calli and Darby on the roof.
Calli has this weird obsession of picking up mattresses with the hopes of going mattress surfacing. After months of asking her to get rid of it Adam took matters in his own hands. He took it to the dumpsters at work and had to jump on it until it fell in.
BYU vs Utah Vegas Bowl
Lacey showed up like this. We threatened to kick her out but she brought me Eggnog as a peace offering.
Lot's a food, good company and a good game.
Jingle even got into the action!
Celebrated Tanya's birthday with these girls with a fun night at Pasta Factory.
Sadie made a Book of Mormon cake for a seminary party. While Gentry was leaning over looking at the unused portion Adam shoved her face in it.
My awesome view every Sunday. Adam in is his cute but manly Batman apron making Sunday dinner.
Gingerbread Houses!
We all constructed our own this year. Everyone got quite creative.
Sadie's Mystery Shack from Gravity Falls
Gentry's North Pole
My Disneyland sign and Adam's Train
Calli's BYU Stadium
This cracks me up. Adam has an obsession about Christmas nuts at Christmas time and insists we have them all season long. It's become a family favorite!
Calli and her best friend Christian at his wrestling match
While eating dinner one night Calli got up and got her a drink. She said she was so tired she couldn't even stand while her cup filled up.
While Calli and Sadie were off with friends late one night, Gentry and I played games. So glad I have a caboose to hang out with me.
Calli got a snow boarding season pass to Brian Head and has been getting good use out of it.

Driving around looking at lights
Family Sleepover by the Christmas Tree!
and Finally, the Christmas moment I'd been waiting for all season... Sipping hot chocolate, watching a Christmas movie with just the glowing lights of the tree, fireplace and nativity...Magical!
