February Fun!

Just some random February Craziness!

It is not unusual to go down into Calli's room and see this...she is studying her little heart out lately trying to prepare herself. 

I was really having a bad day so instead of yelling at my family I hid in the pantry and literally ate the rest of the Cheetos. We got to do, what we got to do!

On the go again! Going from school to soccer practice can really wear a girl out!

With Calli working at Johasen's, I'd been wanting to get a picture of these two in their matching shirts.  With Tyson and Lacey moving and coming to visit us before they left and showing up in his shirt too, I took full advantage of it.

Calli has sure loved working with Tyson everyday. They have become SO close. She say's he is her best friend. He really helped her a lot during the months leading up to turning in her papers. 

She is sure going to miss them. 

The Saturday after getting her call, Calli and Gentry went and did baptisms together and then got a chick-fil-a ice cream come.  Love!

When you ask your girls to bring in the garbage cans and it turns into a race. 

So excited for this new road. It's an underpass from Middleton to the mall. Literally cuts 5 minutes off our time. 

Adam and I went bowling with some friends. Kerry & Janae Bang and Shane & Andrea Flowers. We had a great time  Check out the scores. Yep, that's me...winner!

Just a 12:30 am soccer game in the rain with the girls and their friends. 

Let mission prep and companion study begin...Calli and Sadie working on their Spanish with the Duolingo app. 

Gentry loves to help out in the kitchen. She loves to cook, bake, create, and even set the table. I love when she hangs out in the kitchen with me too, especially when she leaves me messages in the rice. 

"Missionary-ing" Out running missionary errands getting passports, criminal background checks and visa. 

We stopped by Deseret Book and got her a Spanish Book of Mormon.

For a Beehive activity, we went and put thank you treats on the cars at the temple. The beehives had so much fun. I LOVE being in there with Gentry. 

As usual scriptures and prayers breaks out in to a wrestling match. 

Be still my heart. Took Adam to get some more work pants and talked him into getting a few shirts including this flannel...his first one ever. Wowzers!!

 

 Sunday Night Game Nights are our favorite, especially when we play Exploding Kittens

 FHE

The girls got to invite friends over for this one. Gentry and Hallee gave us our lesson to pass off a personal progress goal. 

 Then we went outside for Smores and...

 and Volleyball. 

 We had a great time. Everyone stayed until 11:00 pm when we finally had to kick them out. Adam and I are really trying to make FHE a priority which has been a struggle. But as we have continued to fight we are seeing progress. The girls (and their Friends) count on it now and hopefully look forward to it.
