July Shenanigans

"Bucket Hat Boy" This is a Peterson Family inside joke! A couple years ago we saw a little boy wearing a bucket hat and Adam chimed in "Bucket Hat Boy, Bucket Hat Boy" Ever since then every time we see anyone wearing a hat like this we Sing "Bucket Hat Boy, Bucket Hat Boy" I couldn't resist taking a picture of Adam and sending it to the family group chat. 

Getting our Disney on with "When you Wish"This was our first show of the year. Hopefully, we'll make it to all 3 but I'm not gonna lie, it stings a bit having to pay for tickets again!

Round 2! Sadie lost her retainer and her teeth started to move quickly...

It was back in braces for this cutie. 

One of the funnest things we did this July was keep up with Austin and the DC Grays. He was fantastic. He led the team in home runs and RBI's 

He was also chosen to play in the all-star game

and the collegiate showcase game. Both of which had scouts there watching and looking for future MLB players. 

During the 2nd play off game, Austin was pitching at took a ball to the leg, he went down and was taken off the field. He was unable to play in the next couple games. Both of which they lost and ended their run, (which was the furthest the DC grays have gotten in team history) But this article was posted during this time, discussing Austin in the second to last paragraph.

We had seriously talked about going out to DC to visit and go to a couple games, but we could never find a good enough deal on flights to take the entire family, so Sadie sent him a box of Sunshine instead. 

So cute, he loved it!

Calli had a cool opportunity to go to a baptism for a family she knew in Spain. The family are members and lived in Spain while Calli was in her last area. The wife is from Las Vegas so she and Calli hit it right off, talking about everything back in the states. After Calli returned she soon learned that the family moved back to Las Vegas. They invited her to the daughters baptism and Calli was happy to join and support this cute family. 

We weren't able to go to the baptism but drove down later and met them and Brandon and Tracy at the drive-in movie. 

It was so fun and nostalgic.

This melts my heart! Calli took Gentry and together they read their scriptures at the temple. 

Took Gentry in for a deep conditioning so Sadie could fill her quota. Then went school clothes shopping!

It takes a real man to hang out with a bunch of "moms" for the finale of the bachelorette. 

Sadie was able to go to Lake Powell with the Dunkley's and a dozen of her closet friends. It was their last get together before some head to college and others head on missions. She had so much fun but said it was sad knowing they were all heading in different directions. 

She sure loves this group of friends! 

July has been good to us, not ready for August but bring it on!
