Room Re-Do

We had a big Room "Switch-a-Roo" again. Every time we change one room, it seems to cause a domino effect and effects more than just one room. In this case it affected 6 rooms. 

With Amber moving across country there was a limit as to what she was willing to take. A lot of her stuff was given away, or taken to DI. Anything that meant something to her she wanted kept in the family.  We agreed to take her bed, though we had no idea if it would even fit in our room. But we told her we were willing to try. She was grateful to not have to sell it.  We spent the next weekend rearranging several rooms.

We moved Amber's Furniture into our room. I was so skeptical. I really loved my room the way it was and wasn't anxious about changing it but Adam has always loved this big log bed and was so excited...I love how it turned out. Now we just need a dresser and a couple tables.

 We moved our bedroom furniture into Sadie's room. She was nervous as well. It took up a lot of floor space but she loved it and was so excited. She was worried about losing her desk until we came up with a plan to cut out the drawers and turn one half of the dresser into desk and leave the other as a dresser. It worked out brilliantly.

 We moved some of Sadie's furniture into Gentry's room and got rid of the big bunk beds. This opened up Gentry's room a ton. And she was so excited to get Sadie's desk.

We redecorated Calli's bathroom for her birthday...

then moved the Disney stuff out of her bathroom into the study...

 and moved the study "Americana" decor down to the family room. I just love how everything turned out. It is always a nice change to mix things up a little bit.
