Happy Thanksgiving!

We started the week out with a gratitude family home evening. We would pick a letter of the alphabet out of a bag and then would write something we were thankful for, for each letter on a leaf. It was pretty funny trying to come up with a few things.  Needless to say we were thankful for Old people, Vacuums, Zippers and Yonkers.

On Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving the girls were out of school. My friend Amy Johnson who owns Jumping Jacks invited us and some other friends to bring our kids over before it opened and let them play while we went up stairs and and did Yoga.

It was so much fun and the girls loved having free range of the place for a few hours.

Thanksgiving 2013

It was such a crazy busy weekend full of family, food and fun! On Thursday, we were able to sleep in and have a slow morning watching the Macey Days parade before heading to Thanksgiving that afternoon. It was Losee side this year. We still have Thanksgiving with my dad's siblings and my cousins so we go to a church. All my brothers and sisters and families were there so we had a good time.

After eating we all spent the rest of the day looking through ads and getting geared up for Black Friday. 

Calli really wanted to see what all the hype was about so she and Ashlynn went out twice that night. Once with Tyson and Lacey at 6:00 to Wal-mart and then again with Kevin and Jen at midnight to the mall.They got home around 2:30 that morning. They loved it.

Friday, I headed out shopping at 6:00 that morning and stayed out until I got everything done. Later that night we all went to the temple with Tavin. (He will leave on his mission in January.) Then to my mom's for ice cream.

Saturday, we got up bright and early and headed to Enterprise for Weston and Shaylee's baptism.

Later that night Calli got her hair colored. She went darker and it is so cute.  After lots of late nights and early mornings we were all exhausted but had a great weekend.
