March Madness!

Could not have been happier to get Calli's passport in the mail. The whole Visa process was quite stressful. A week after her call came we got another letter with a list of everything we needed to get for her visa and had 20 days to do it.If not, it could result in her going to Provo MTC instead of Spain. EEEK! We got on it the next day. She needed a passport (expedited) fingerprints, a criminal background check mailed to the FBI to be notarized as soon as that came back we had to send it to the Governor office for an apostille. We seemed to hit road bumps all along the way. It was a intense 20 days. We got everything expedited and it all back around day 24. We overnight-ed it to the church travel office and hoped for the best...we will see!
Can't believe we are in the double digits.

Calli had a fun night with friends in Mesquite at the Lights and Lantern festival.
We played LDS headbanz for FHE
We have an app called The Ring. With a camera as a doorbell and the app on our phone we are able to see who stops by. While running errands one day our app alerted me someone was at the door. I opened it just to see and busted up laughing to see Lyman there in his helmet talking to Adam.
Calli has been working hard getting ready for her mission. Lance Anderson loaned her his Rosetta Stone to practice Spanish. It is the funniest thing. She uses earphones and a microphone so you can't hear the computer at all, just her repeated what it say's. "Na"  "Na" "Na" "Da" "Da" "Da" "NaDa" I was laughing pretty hard listening from the other room.

Ssdie and I out cheer shopping for shoes and outfit for try-outs. (Another Post) Tropical Smoothie is a must!

Club Soccer has begun. Not sure where Gentry has been but she is certainly coming out of her shell on teh field...finally. She is pushing, getting to the ball, passing. She had a good shot on goal and even drew a foul. Something Adam paid her $5 for. It's great to see her getting aggressive.

Calli has spent quite a bit of time on the slopes this season. Mostly with Emma, Christian El-Bakri, and Hannah.
Gentry and I in our onsies getting ready to watch a spooky movie. We showed her Dragonfly.
While at the school one day waiting for kids I was looking at the state trophys and saw the soccer one. i never knew the players names were on it. So of course I had to take a picture of Calli's name.

Sadie was over at friends one night and had left her truck at the school So she needed her friend to take her there so she could come home. As they were going out to their cars they noticed some of the cars had been vandalized. Someone had wrote all over the carS and had broken a window. They were going to have to wait for the cops so we just drove over to pick up Sadie and take her to her truck. At the high school another of her friends cars was written on but nothing on Sadie's. Adam jumped in Sadie's truck and we followed him home...almost. He ran out of gas. It was 1:00 am by the time we got home, got a gas tank and got back to the truck. Even though we were pretty frustrated with the situation we were so glad that Sadie had not been driving home alone late at night and ran out of gas on the dark street. It was kinda a strange night. Nothing ever came of the vandalism. Most likely just a prank and hopefully Sadie learned her lesson to fill the truck with gas. It's been quite a crazy month.
