Best Week!

Yep she's home:)!! We spent quite a few days getting her room put back together and displaying some of her Spain Souvenirs she brought back with her.  Each morning she got up early and exercised and then studied her scriptures for an hour. I hope she keeps up on this. Tuesday Night before bed she asked us like 6 times what we were doing tomorrow and what our plans were. She is use to having everything planned out.
Wednesday we went to the temple with the YW and did baptisms. She was so happy to be in the temple again. She hadn't been since the MTC in Madrid.
After baptisms we walked over to the visitor center and walked around, saw the display of nativities inside the visitor center and and listened to the Story outside at the Nativity.
She was in full missionary mode. Talking to everyone she ran into. Loved talking with the missionaries and even met the grandpa of an Elder she knew in her mission.
That night we introduced her to "The Greatest Showman" She LOVED it! The soundtrack has been on repeat at our house all week. Thursday, we went shopping for some essentials and much needed items and clothes. She was so funny. Everything was "too expensive" and she had a hard time spending money. After a couple of hours she said "This has been a really worldly day, are we almost done" haha! That night we went to Tuacahn's Live Nativity.
She loved being back to her ole' stopping grounds.

Visit with Santa before going into the Amphitheater.
We went the night that Sadie and the special needs mutual were performing. It is darling when they put on the nativity and of course Sadie was a beautiful angel.

Calli putting on the tree topper.
Getting a neck massage from dad. Her neck is still bothering her.
She's really had a hard time sleeping. She was so jet-lagged and off on her hours for the first few days. The first night she only slept a couple hours.  The next night she zonked in our bed while reading our nightly Christmas story. She slept a little better that night. Each night she continued to get a little more sleep than the night before.
Friday she had a hair appointment to get her blonde again before her Homecoming.
And then drove for the first time in 18 months. She drove a few blocks from Danna's to Lins to shop for her Homecoming food. And some healthy food choices for herself. She has loved salads with spinach and vinegar, smoothies and fruit since she got home.
Saturday Afternoon we drove to Cedar to the "Forgotten Carols" One of her favorite Christmas Traditions. They were in St. George the night she got home so I was so excited to see we could still make it to a performance.
Tyson, Lacey and Talen were just coming through Cedar at the same time so met them and she got to see them for the first time.
Cousins reunited after both their missions.

We had an extra ticket so we invited Talen to come along with us. They had so much fun talking about all their experiences.  The play was as good as ever, though I cried less this year having her home.
After the play we drove over to the new Cedar City Temple. It was the first time seeing it for both Talen and Calli.
That night we went over to grandma's for pizza and to see and hangout with more family she hadn't seen yet.
Calli and Jorrin

 Brandon and Tracy
 Cousin bonding Time
Sunday, was her Welcome Home. She did such a fantastic job. Her talk was great and testimony in Spanish was right on...so I'm told! Funny story about the Homecoming: Damon Anderson returned from his mission the week before and was assigned to speak in our ward during her homecoming. It was so funny and the talk of the ward.
Open House. Soups, Salads, Rolls and Cookies. She had amazing support and a great turn out!
She loved today and had so much fun meeting new members of the family and seeing old friends. She was on cloud nine all day.  That night we went to her Mission Review in front of the Stake Presidency and Stake High Council. It was intimidating to sit in front of them all. But again she did amazing answering all their questions and coming up with different experiences than what she used in her talk. Later that night we went to a Bishops Fireside and Bishops House. He called on her quite a bit to share. She loved it. Such a great day full of the spirit.  Monday, She got back on the slopes. She, Damon and Talen went Snow boarding in Brian Head. She loved being out in the powder again.

That night we went to Tuacahn's "Fairy Tale Christmas" It was a jam-packed week and we kept her busy.  It's been so much fun! Like a new toy. Everywhere we go people just want to to see Calli. They don't care if we're there or not. Haha! Also I have found myself taking a picture of every new thing she does like a new born baby.
