Weekend BYU Trip!

The first BYU Baseball Home Game Weekend.
Woke up early Saturday morning and drove to Provo. (Gentry's so funny, she's trying to keep the sun out of her eyes)

It had snowed the day before so it was still pretty snowy.  The roads were good other than going through the passes, those were still snow packed. We passed a couple accidents.  We met up with Emma and Graccie and dropped Calli off to go snowboarding for the day and then headed to the  baseball stadium.
I spy the "Y"...kinda.
The baseball field is right across the street from the football stadium.
Austin had put Sadie's name on one of his comp tickets so she got to go pick it up from this guy.

 The field.
Austin and teammates in the dugout.
The sun starting to peek through. It ended up being a pretty nice day. Not too cold.
What's a BYU game without a cougar tail.
Austin didn't end up getting in that game, but it was still fun to be there. Live games are so much funner than watching them on TV.
Sadie and Austin after the game.

Game ball signed by Austin...I had teased him about wanting a autographed baseball and after the game he handed me this. Haha!
After the game we went to Cabelas and then to lunch.
We met back up with Calli after snowboarding and took her to meet up with some of her mission comps that she hadn't seen since Spain. She had a blast catching up with everyone. Hermana Lindley her MTC companion was there too. These two are two peas in a pod.  While she was with them, Sadie, Austin and Gentry went to a movie so Adam and I went to JCW's for a shake. We picked up Gentry and Calli and headed back to the hotel while Austin and Sadie met up with friends.
Sunday morning we went and walked around the Provo City Center Temple.

This adorable bookstore is just a couple blocks from the temple. I love this city, so cute!! I love the energy and the atmosphere.
After the temple we dropped Calli off at Hermana Hofstetter's apartment with her and Edu for dinner. These two were companions in Tarragona and taught and baptized Edu's best friend Mati.  They formed "Team Bazinga" Edu is now in the states and the two are engaged. While she was spending time with them, we went to lunch and then Sadie and Austin said their goodbyes.  Always so hard but so worth it. We had a great weekend. We picked up Calli and hit the road home. I LOVE road trips with these people.
