Sunday, February 23rd ~It was such a nice day that after church we decided to go on a nice, relaxing, leisurely hike down the Kayenta Wash Trail. It had rained the day before so what started out as a nice leisurely hike, soon turned into an adventure.
About a 1/4 of the way in we hit water. The only way around was to jump it, scale it or get help from Adam!
Our fearless leader leading the way stepped right into a waterer sink hole and went knee deep. We were laughing so hard we almost forgot to help him out.

But once we got down into the slot canyon, the views were amazing and so worth it!!

Adam decided to take a bath and clean off his legs right in the middle of Calli and Jason's photo shoot! Haha!!

More jumping over big muddy puddles. Adam finally just got in knee deep and helped all the girls across. Sadie would get to the edge and say "Okay I'm ready and just want Adam to lift her and carry her across.
He is such a great dad. Always willing to go knee deep in any situation to help his girls.

We took the trail on the way back out which was so much faster and had less muddy obstacles.
And then to end the adventure we crawled through the tunnels at the end of the hike which were completely optional but a must for the crew we were with. We had a great time, with great company, amazing view and lot's of laughs. I sure love the adventures with our family!
