Easter Weekend 2020!

Easter Weekend was the absolute Best!
Friday morning, we woke up to a gorgeous sky.
We also, began our "Good Friday Fast" that President Nelson announced in General Conference. Once he announced it, it took on a life of it's own. A face book page was created and pretty soon we had people from all over the world, all walks of life and all different religious beliefs asking to join and asking if they could fast and pray with us.

It was awesome seeing so many people come together, united for the same cause.
 Loved This :)
Our 24 hour fast was up at 7:00pm. Adam and I ordered Costa Vida prior to that so we'd be back home and ready to eat right at 7:00, we were starving. This is one thing I have LOVED about social distancing, all the curbside services. I would love for this to continue even after it's all over.  Sadie had to work until 9:00 so we picked up her's and Austin's and they ate it later that night. We also bought a bunch of munchies and stayed up playing games until midnight...
then decided to do a nose strip...only in quarantine would doing a nose strip at 12:30 in the morning sound like fun!
Saturday, Adam and I went for a hike to Snow Canyon. Sadie and Austin were at his house, Calli was on a date, and Gentry wanted to stay home.  We had a great time.
 Hidden Pinyon Trail
Adam thought he was ducking out of the frame. Haha!!

It was a pretty cool trail. One of my favorites so far.
Can't believe this is in our backyard. It's gorgeous.

That night we watched an outdoor movie (knives out) had Italian Sodas, Popcorn and Smores.
 So much Fun!!
It was a great movie!
Sadie popping popcorn over the fire.
April 12, 2020 Easter Day!
Even though my kids are mostly adults, I still like to do cheesy Easter Egg Hunts.
There were glow in the dark eggs hidden all over the house in dark corners.
Once they found them all they got a clue to their loot...
out in the trailer.
Looks like the Easter Bunny was not effected by the virus and found our home.
Family gifts: Spike ball, Throw, Throw Burrito and Quest for Camelot DVD.
Calli got new makeup organizers and shampoo, Sadie got Nike Shoes, Gentry got room decor and tie dye stuff, I got a candle and Adam got a CB radio for the trailer so we can talk to the razor.
They instantly got out the burritos and started making up their own rules as they hit and smacked each other with them.

After Home Church consisting of sacrament and a Easter lesson, we face timed the grandparents.

Then spent the rest of the night outside playing spike ball and bocce ball. It was such a fabulous weekend, one I did not want to end. Happy Easter! He is Risen!!
