The Saturday before Mother's Day we went to lunch with Dad Peterson and all of Adam's brothers and sisters. We do this every year to celebrate Adam's mom's birthday. Dad Peterson also wanted to use this time for a Peterson family meeting. A couple months ago he had told us that there was a opportunity for him to sell the chocolate factory and that he was seriously thinking about it. As the months went on, there was more and more talk between the businesses and it looked like it was going to go through. He brought us altogether to let us know that papers had been signed and it was a done deal. Amberlyn Chocolates will keep it's name and the store here but it will merge with Utah truffles and the factory will be moved up north. This change is bitter sweet. It is sweet because dad is soo happy. This was dad's dream. The only reason he started this business was so he could one day leave a legacy to his children. It is bitter because Ben and Stacy will be moving up north. Ben has been offered the job to go run the business there. It has been a really hard few months with lots of tears shed. Especially when we told all the cousins. Kassi and Sadie are the best of friends and the two of them just sobbed. It really hasn't hit me yet, I'm sure I'll cry like a baby when at the end of summer my only sister packs up and heads out. It will definantly be a change for their little family but a great life adventure. And on a positive note, now when they come back for visits they get to stay with me.

Later that night, Adam and I went to see BRIAN REGAN.
For Adam's birthday back in March I had given him tickets to BRIAN REGAN at Tuacahn. The show just happened to be the night before Mother's Day so we were able to kill two birds with one stone. And of course it was amazing, we laughed so hard my stomach hurt. We just love him at our home!
