DISNEY CRUISE 2016 Part 3

MONDAY, MAY 16, 2016
This was by far my favorite day. With the excursion and all the activities going on it was go, go, go all day.
 Woke up in Ensenada Mexico

These seals were right outside our port window.
Turned on the Cruise Channel while getting ready.

The cruise activity director came on daily to tell us of the activities going on that day.
You could also watch the Live Broadway shows in your room if you missed the actual show along with ANY Disney movie all day long.
We hit up the Beach Blanket buffet again for breakfast before disembarking
Getting off the ship in Mexico. This time we disembarked off the first deck.

Took a short bus ride into town and then got on a tour bus. Our tour guide was so funny.

Our ship in the distant as we drove away

Dad found us on the map
The Blow Hole. We came to this area for the shopping, the blow hole was just a bonus. There are only three in the World. One in Hawaii, one in Australia and one in Ensenada.

Selfies

Oh, how I love these girls and pictures...they make me laugh.
We tried and tried to get a picture of grandma and grandpa with the blowhole erupting behind them but they were either tiny or dad turned his head when it actually did blow.

They finally gave up and walked away and it exploded..
Round 2...
It's as good as we got! Haha!
Shopping! Adam realized he's got some of his dad in him, he really enjoyed haggling. We came away with some nice things; blankets, poncho's, backpacks, bracelets etc.
After shopping, the girls had a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I had heard about this while researching and told the girls about it,  it's all they could think about. For $35 total of their hard earned money they each got to pick which cat they wanted to hold, hold it and bottle feed it...totally worth it. Look at the pure joy on their faces.

so cute!
My mom snapped this picture of me taking pictures of the girls.
It was such a comforting feeling heading back to the ship.

Headed back to our room. We spent 4 hours off the ship in Mexico

Took a break and then got in our swimsuits and headed for the pool.
These are all around the pool deck. I had made and brought a nautical flag decoder so we could figure them out. This is a DCL=Disney Cruise Line
C is also for Calli
We wanted to try all the snack bars by the pool, so we got a little bit of everything from each place.
Eating lunch poolside
The girls hot tubing
while we relaxed

After we soaked up some rays we went exploring again

Hit up the sports deck for an intense game of ping pong
and foosball.
Then back down to Route 66 again

We made it back to the room just in time to get ready for Pirate Night.
Jack Sparrow. The girls were little smitten-ed...
especially grandma
This night our rotational dining was at Animator's Palate. Our favorite meal by far!
It's a black and white restaurant that changes into color throughout the meal along with a show at the end with Mickey himself.
Even Oscar's vest was black and white.

Changes happening right before our eyes.

More dinner games. This one came with a prize if we figured it out.
"Free Dinner at the Parrot Cay tomorrow at 8:15 pm. It's on Oscar. Haha!
Mickey Sundae
Build your own pie!
The girls singing to the camera along with the songs playing in the restaurant.

It's MICKEY! During the show all the servers came back out in their colored vests. We cheered and shouted for Oscar and Thatree. It was so much fun, really got us hyper for the Pirate Party.
Quick picture before heading to the Pirate Party!
Thatree holding plates over Sadie's head giving her Mickey ears
Gentry's turn!
We ran to the Pirate Deck Party and got there just in time. We made our way to the front of the crowd right by the stage.

The girls had sooo much fun! They really got into it and jumped and danced around especially when they saw they kept getting on the funnel vision.

 Captain Hook and his posse.
They zip lined from the top of the ship to the deck. After dancing and singing Living on a Prayer and The Final Countdown, Mickey came to the rescue.
The party ended with Fireworks at sea...Amazing!

Back to the room, we were not ready for this day to end, so...
we changed into our pajamas and went to the midnight show of Captain America. Everyone stayed awake but Calli and I.
