Stake Girls Camp June 13 - 16, 2018
The theme was Birds of a Feather, Flock together. Each ward was a bird. We were the Swans. Our focus was that "Beauty comes from within" We all had matching hoodies with that saying.
Wednesday, First Day Setting up camp and tents.
During free time our ward went on a "Values Walk" We learned about each value and then did an activity for each. This one was knowledge and played headbands
Choice and Accountability. They had to get themselves into the order of their birth dates while standing on the log without falling off.

Sadie loved hanging out with the beehives, especially Bradi Gates.
Sadie, Bradi and Emma free style dancing.
Using our energy to lift people. It was pretty amazing. I was a skeptic until they did it to me. It was so cool and totally works.
We laughed that if bishop saw these pics he'd probably release us all. ha ha!
Using our energy to lift coolers...yep, it worked.
The 3 musketeers: Hallee, Miya and Gentry hanging out with Mabel Reedy.
Oh, this picture provided me lots of laughs through the following days.
These three began the trend of wearing their hoodies tied around their head with their ears poking out. It was the funniest thing. Pretty soon everyone at camp was doing it...
including us leaders. Oh.My.Goodness. We snapped pictures and then laughed about the pictures for about an hour and then took more pictures and laughed some more. We laughed until we were crying and we all had belly aches. It was so much fun!
Cracking ourselves up!
Gopher Faces.
This is our "Double chin Sexy" look.
We think KNOW we're pretty hilarious!
From these pictures Amber got dubbed the nickname of "Creeper" She was called that the rest of the time at camp.

We decided this one looked like Jenni had just farted...Haha! Later that night as we laying in bed we got the giggles again as we looked through the pictures.
Conga line down to the Amphitheater for "Camp Kick-off"
Bird Hunt - This was pretty entertaining. They split up the girls into groups and gave them all a different bird. Then they gave them a "call" to go with that bird. They took them out into the meadow where they were looking for bird eggs (gumballs) everyone on the team could look and find them but only the team leader could grab them. So when a team member would find an egg they had to yell out their bird call until the leader came to gather the eggs. It was so funny hearing all these different calls as they ran around.
Sadie participating in a bubble blowing contest.
Writing nice things about each other on their swan.
Mother/daughter love
Loved, Loved, Loved hanging out with my girls at camp.
Gentry waiting in line at the bathroom
That night, one of my cute beehives in the the beehive tent started not feeling well. They came to the leaders tent around 12:30 looking for a leader. I crawled out into the freezing cold and talked to them for a minute and then decided the only way they are going to settle down, go to sleep and Olivia was going to feel better was to get her a priesthood blessing. They all (6) insisted on going with us. So I walked all 6 beehives down to the priesthood camp for a blessing. It ended up being a pretty powerful moment at camp, one that would continue to be talked about the rest of the time and during testimony meeting. I'm so glad I was inspired to take them. After we got back, I walked them to their tent, told them goodnight and went back to my tent. Just as I got comfortable I heard this "ROBYN?" "Shhh, Don't wake up Robyn again" well, it had only been a couple minutes so of course I wasn't asleep yet. I got back out of my warm sleeping bag and went back over to their tent and they said "nevermind, Olivia's hair was caught in the zipper but we got it out" Haha!! Love working with these little stinkers.

Devotional by Mabel
That night we watched "The Greatest Showman"
It was hilarious as all the girls sang EVERY song and would gasp, cheer and boo at every scene. It actually made watching the movie another level of entertaining.

Heading to the ropes course.
Singing a song we had been working on for the bishopric before testimony meeting. Like always, testimony meeting became one of my favorite parts. There's just something about girls camp testimony meeting that is just inspiring. Saturday, June 16th - The next morning we woke up bright and early and had our camp packed up before the devotional. We were off the mountain by 10:00 am and back home by noon. It was so good to see Adam again. I missed him a bunch. This was the first year he was completely alone for the entire time and the first time he didn't come up for one of the days/nights. Another great year at camp in the books. Time to Recoup for next year. I LOVE YW!!
