Just June

It's not a Peterson summer until there are Shish-kabobs!
 It came...it finally came!!
I'm so excited, I ordered a Minky Beddy for the trailer. It's a zippered sheet and comforter set. Perfect for the trailer. No more crawling all over the bed, just to make it. It is so comfortable too. I swear I sleep better in the trailer than in my own bed.
Sadie and 8 of her friends all asked out dates and had a big group date in the back yard. They made outdoor pizzas, s'mores and watched an outdoor movie.

While setting up, Life Flight kept flying around and hovering over the mountain. We never did hear what was going on but they were definitely looking for someone.
We got caught by the boss...aka Adam, having a dance party out front in our office chairs. Sometimes, you just have to relieve stress anyway you can.
 Sunday Selfie...Covid Style.
We went back to church. It was so weird...you could definitely still feel the spirit but it also kinda felt like going to church in a war zone.  Our ward was split into two groups A-J and K-Z. We'll take turns going every other week. Anyone over 65 or with health issues are still asked to stay home. We had 63 people attend our meeting (the previous week only had 24) Masks were recommended (Thanks to Ryan's mom for making these for us), the benches were blocked off so families could only sit on every other bench, the bishop comes each Sunday but his counselors rotate weeks, the podium and microphone were wiped off after each speaker, No hymns were sung (hymn books have been taken out of the chapel) and there are no pianists or choristers, we listen to the songs from someones phone, and the sacrament is passed by the priesthood all wearing masks. There are only 10 pieces of bread per tray, for the water they carry two trays one for the full cups and one for the empties.  It was a different experience for sure but one I'm glad my family got to experience. I'm glad that they are easing us back in slowly and that every other week we still get to do home church!...crazy times we're living in, that's for sure.

Random texts to each other.
Closet thing to a perfect game...

We were playing with 6 epidemic cards. We cured all 4 areas and eradicated 3 areas. On Adam's last move we needed 5 actions to win the entire thing but we only had 4.  He was sitting in the city with the cube, we just had to take it off to win the whole darn thing...ugg, sooo close!
We stopped by for a quick visit in grandma and grandpas and as we were leaving, Adam spotted a turtle in grandpas planter.
Gentry wanted to take it home, but we have been there, done that!
 Gentry to the rescue!
We drove it down to the pond on the golf course and let it go.
After painting our garage doors, I got the urge to add shutters. I've been wanting them forever but didn't know if they would look good with our pop outs, so Adam and I built one just to test and see before we ordered...

Good thing we did, because they were cute but just not made for this house. I'll have to come up with something else to balance out the garage doors.
Adam helping Gentry melt a spoon to make a ring.
 The garden is producing plentiful!

Gentry and Stephanie got to go spend a couple days in Bryce Canyon with Jaden.
So glad they are still able to hang out and stay at each other's houses even though Jaden has moved.
Pollyanna...All we hear about when Sadie goes and plays game is Pollyanna. It's a game that her friend group loves and plays all the time. It gets pretty competitive and the keep track of everyone's scores from years ago.
Sadie was staying at Kell's house one night so Gentry tucked herself in with pillows surrounding herself and her bright moon lamp. I didn't even have to use the flash for this picture, it was so bright.
June 24th, (the same day we should have been loading a plane to go to Nauvoo) Sad day for Sadie and Austin. After months of being together everyday, Austin left for Georgia for summer ball.
Good thing she can still see him 6 nights a week live streamed. We paid $80 to be able to watch his games...worth it!
Austin plays on the Macon Bacon team where bacon masks are a must...apparently.
Love that we can still find sidewalk art with inspirational thoughts while out on our nightly walks. Can't believe June came and went that fast. Bring on July!
