Oh my goodness, the sage of the new fridge...
The water/ice dispenser stopped working on our fridge, so moved it into the garage and found a new one at Home Depot. AS Adam was getting everything ready for delivery, a valve broke behind the fridge, so when the new fridge came, the deliverers weren't able to get it installed where it was going to be. So Adam and I said "we got it"
Upon inspection, we noticed a little vent on the side of the fridge, so first, Adam had to cut a hole in the cupboard next to where the fridge was going. Once we were finally able to push the fridge into place, it would budge passed the halfway point. We tried everything, crowbars, leverage and all the muscle we had but it was just a hair too wide.
After much time we finally decided it was not going to fit and left to find a new one. One our way out of the driveway, without realizing Adam had the portable pump hooked up to my tire we backed out and crunched it completely. We decided to go back in and search online. After lots of searches we, couldn't find one that would fit or one I liked better than the one we got.
So after lot's of measuring and concluding that it should fit we gathered the troops and tried again. We got it further than before but not all the way. Just when hope was lost, more muscles showed up.
Levi came to bring us Koda for the week while they go to Hawaii. They pushed so hard that it moved into place but came up off the ground. Haha!
Adam put some shims under it and after hours of stress and pushing, we called it good.
It still sticks out a bit into the kitchen but I don't care. I'm just glad we got it in. If we ever need to get it back out, that's another story. But isn't it beautiful. I love it!
