It's Cabin Time Again!
July 20-23, 2017
Yay! So glad to be back for round 2...Girls Camp was just the weekend prior.
Grandma had a "Missionary Table" all set up complete with pictures of our 3 missionaries, their favorite treat and stationary to write them letters.
The baskets were pretty full by the time we left! They will love them
One of my favorite things about the cabin is watching Adam sit back and relax.
Friday morning is always Adam and I's turn for breakfast. We try to mix it up each year. This year we did custom omelets, which was pretty easy since we were shorter on numbers this year.
Friday afternoon we decided to do the same hike we had done for Girls Camp. Love the signs that all over Brian Head.
I love all of the trees. They don't call it twisted forest for nothing.
It is such an awesome hike. Looks like a tree graveyard until you get to the top.
Mom and dad were troopers and made it to the top.
The view is spectacular!
Enjoying views from the top!
Heading back down.
Sadie and her Fidget!
Gentry and Jantzyn making up a dance routine for us through the kitchen window.
Fun at the park and reservoir.
It's seems to rain each year that we are there...I love it! Rain at the cabin is my favorite! It smells amazing, plus...
it's the perfect time for Solitaire and games.
Adam bringing his bike in the rain
And then spraying it off after his early Saturday morning bike ride.
Saturday, we walked down to the Lodge for the car show and festivities.
This year we did Zip lining!
Adam and I
Sadie and Jaicelyn
Gentry and Jantzyn
Grandpa and Jorrin
WE also did the Alpine Slide again. It was sprinkling the first few runs so it was so fast...and kinda scary.
Sadie
That night we did the "Infamous Crazy Ball" again!
Sadie went almost the whole game without getting anything. She was so excited to finally get something.
Church at Town Hall is always an adventure! Where else can you sit on the floor for sacrament and...
listen to the speakers on a baby monitor.
Terry was sitting by the elevator. At one point it opened and had a music stand in it with a piece of paper. He wrote "help" on it and sent it back down...in the middle of church. Haha!
The Losee (minus a few) before heading home Sunday. Always a trip we look forward to all summer. We sure did miss Calli and our missionaries. One more year at the Cabin without them and then they will be home!!!
