Alejuandro's Baptism, Transfers and Goodbyes

"You'll never have a weird companion, if you are the weird companion"
-wise words from Elder Moon
HELLO!!!! This week has been so hectic!  We have this amazing reference that we taught on Monday, and he is amazing! He is so cute he literally looks and acts like Mr. Bean! And get this his name is Nacho! Haha He went on a trip with his friend to Utah and brought us a photo album with tons of pictures of church historical sights (that he didn't even really knew what they were) He listened to the tabernacle choir and LOVED IT! He then showed us a picture he took of the Salt Lake Temple and said it was his favorite! AND HE BOUGHT HIMSELF A BOOK OF MORMON IN UTAH! Without having any knowledge of the church before. His mom died 2 months ago and he really wants to learn the gospel! Then on Wednesday LITTLE ALEJANDRO WAS BAPTIZED!!!! Oh my goodness it was the absolute most precious thing in the whole world💚 Alejandro is the 9 year old little boy his parents are both converts but have been inactive for about 4 years until the missionaries found them here in Spain! The missionaries have been teaching them for a while, his father's papers were lost saying he had the priesthood so the Sunday before he received the priesthood and on Wednesday he was able to baptize his little boy! Alejandro was so excited to get baptized! He talked about it all the time and Luis says he knows that God is calling him back to the fold though his son. His family showed up early and got in their whites, this little friend in primary gave the prayer and his mom gave a talk, me, Hermana Rockhill, and Elder Moon sang while Elder Hayes played the guitar, then he was baptized! But when he went under the water he like rolled up in a little ball and his leg came up his dad saw it and just pushed him down farther haha. Then his father(Luis) mom(Mati), Alejandro and his aunt (who Mati was Facetiming)  gave their testimonies. And Mati began to cry when she said that they are now preparing to go to the temple for their family to be sealed for time and all eternity. It was amazing, I'm not gonna lie I began to tear up a little bit. So blessed to be able to be part of that experience. They are an amazing family and will soon receive one of the most amazing blessings God has given us and they will get to be sealed as a family in the house of the Lord. This was my last week with my mom Hermana Rockhill, so this week has consisted of her saying goodbye to the people here in Vilafranca and it was super sad! She has helped me and been such a good example to me, and I've learned so much from her. And today I will get to lead the area with a new companion. Hermana Bodden that I will meet today. I am terrified out of my mind but also so excited! I am now in my breaking! So crazy! I have already seen so many blessings and miracles here in Vilafranca! I can't wait for the rest of it! My Spanish is really coming along and I am becoming better friends with the people here in Spain and I LOVE IT! SO MANY BLESSINGS
My favorite scripture this week was D&C 78  18 And ye cannot bear all things now; nevertheless, be of good cheer, for I will lead you along. The kingdom is yours and the blessings thereof are yours, and the riches of eternity are yours. 19 And he who receiveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious; and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even an hundred fold, yea, more.
ALSO HAPPY BIRTHDAY ON SUNDAY TO TWO OF MY BEST FRIENDS IN THE WHOLE WORLD, MY FRIEND GRACCIE BECK AND SISTER LOSEE IN CALIFORNIA I LOVE YOU BOTH MORE THE  LIFE!!!💙💙💙
Thank you for all of your prayers and support love you all-> God's speed
Love, Hermana Peterson
