Wow this week has been non stop. Literally we have not had a break all week! Which is the way I like It, but holy! Well this week we were in the streets a lot, contacting and knocking a lot of doors! We found a ton of really really great people so we are so excited! Gloria and the girls are good but It looks like we will be waiting until next week for their baptism because Lizzie has only been to church once and they have to come to church twice but it will be good we still have more to teach them! However, she has had a spiritual confirmation that it is true, she has told us she knows it is true and feels so good! And feels like this is what she needs and that this church is her family. She has been through so many crazy hard things in her life and we are just so excited for her that she is seeing a little bit of the peace and joy this Gospel brings! Jose Alberto is progressing a lot! He told us he wants to be baptized but has a lot to change first! And He bought clothes for church! We are so excited for him and have already seen a huge change in him, he knows it's true! Spain is so different😂 there are just things that happen here that are just not normal. It's literally another world. This week we were sitting on a bench making phone calls when an older man walked by us and so we said hi and he stopped. Looked at us. And then just started singing at the top of his lungs some song for about 2 minutes😂 me and my companion were dying! He then stopped and said another song! And continued to sing another song. Then he gave us a ring😂😂 he didn't want anything but it made our week! Another funny story, we were in a house of a lady, teaching her about the Book of Mormon and in the middle of the lesson the door bell rings, and when our investigator opened the door in walked the Jehovah witnesses, they saw us there and got mad saying if we were staying they were leaving, the lady we were teaching is just the sweetest women and invited them in to sit down. They then started talking in Catalan so we couldn't understand. We told them that we needed to go but would like to finish the lesson, as we began teaching again one of the older ladies started whipping out scriptures from the bible literally trying to bible bash with us. We answered her questions and then the topic came up of which church was right. We shared with them the promise in the Book of Mormon that we can pray and ask God, and the spirit was so strong, we then ended a prayer with all of them. We taught Jehovah witnesses this week, alright!😂👏Miracle for this week was really amazing! We accidentally deleted our app to send messages and we had a lesson with an amazing women that we had found who had a lot of potential. We rang her door bell of her building to let us in but it didn't work we couldn't send her a message and also the phone had died.... we were a little worried and locked outside of the door at the bottom of the building, we then stopped and said a prayer right outside the door that we would be able to get in the building to visit her. Right after we said amen there was a man walking up the street and I said to my companion kind of joking, this man is going to open the door. He walked up to us and the door, pulled out his keys and opened the door...and then asked us if we wanted to go in! MIRACLES!!! Many times our prayers are answered through others!!!! GOD lives!!! I just want to end with this scripture in 1 Corinthians 9:6-7 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver I love this scripture so much! Especially the last part that says "for God loveth a cheerful giver" That really the people that I have seen and meet in my life that are the happiest are those who give cheerfully and without expecting anything in return! And it blesses both the life of the giver and the receiver. For that is what Christ did his whole life, the only thing he ever did was give and isn't that our goal here is to be more like him? I know with my whole heart that this is Christs' church on the earth today! That his church was restored perfectly by the prophet Joseph Smith and that we are literally latter day saints all called by him to bring the world his truth and share these AMAZING blessing that others are searching for! I have never seen how the Gospel can really change lives and bring happiness until the mission! It's so real! There is a light that the gospel brings and that as members we all have and people can see It! Love you all have an amazing week! Also late happy birthday shout out to the best friend! Happy birthday Christian James!
