December 9-11, 2022
Thursday night we headed to Brian Head after everyone was off work.
As we approached Cedar City, I asked Adam if he had remembered his heart pills. I had pulled them out and had them sitting by the candle. I couldn’t remember grabbing them. I remembered turning off the candle but couldn’t remember seeing them sitting there. Adam called his dad and gave him the code to the front door to see if the pills were still sitting there. He called us back once he was inside and confirmed they were still there. We called Calli to see if she had left yet. She hadn’t, so we made several calls back and forth between Lyman and Calli to have the meet up and get the pills from Lyman and bring them to Brian Head with them. In all the chaos we somehow missed the turn and was well on our way to Beaver before we realized it. At the next opportunity we flipped around and headed back towards Brian Head. With the time lost, we could almost have drove back and just gotten the pills ourselves. Haha!
Finally pulled into the cabin around 8:00pm (these pics were taken the next day)
Such a pretty cabin!

Out the back yard!
Thursday night we all arrived, ate a spaghetti dinner and explored the cabin. It was huge and like a giant maze. There were three different living areas with there own kitchen, family room and bedrooms.

As soon as we all gathered, Jake and Jadyn did a gender reveal….twins!!
Adam and Levi had a game of pool in the downstairs gathering area.
We played games and visited late into the night!
The three musketeers! They had so much fun paling around with each other over the weekend.
Friday. Morning views from one of the decks!
Getting ready to hit the slopes
Her happy place!
All geared up ready to go!
Cutest snow bunnies!
Adam andni sat at the bottom of the hill by the fire pits and watched them go up and down.
We stayed for about 3 hours and watched and then went and made them sandwiches and brought them back.
It was such a nice day. It was definitely cold but by the fire pits not too bad.
Levi sent us picture of them at the “park” doing tricks!
Calli figured out she could “twirl” haha!
Doing some jumps!
After watching for a few hours we walked down to the shops and looked around and found the ice skating rink.
After a long day on the slopes, the hot tub was a must. Calli called it “cousin soup” haha!
That night Adam and I were in charge of dinner. We did Papa Murphy’s pizza!
The rest of the night was spent chilling and hanging out!
We had craft time and made ornaments out of cups.
Grandma read a Christmas Story
Saturday. The next morning Calli, Levi, Ash and Blake had breakfast. It was so cute! They went all out. They planned their menu and went shopping together and made. Huge breakfast with pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage.
Calli cracking the eggs!
After breakfast, Calli and Gentry went down to the market for drinks and saw a deer!
While some of the others went sledding!
It was fun to watch from the windows and decks!
That afternoon we had a birthday party for Grae.
And Kiel and Levi played some pool.
Then we watched the World Cup and ate lunch!
Sadie sewing in one of Calli’s extensions
The three musketeers playing the switch.
We ran back to the market for ice cream and the slopes were all lit up. So cool!
That night, we all spontaneous sat around and shared how we all met, picked the ring, asked the in laws and got engaged. It was fun to hear everyone’s stories!
It was another late night! The next morning (Sunday) a storm was coming in so we all got up, packed up and hit the road. It was so good to be to the cabin again. So much fun! We took a vote and it was pretty unanimous that everyone wanted to do it again and keep it in the winter!
