Another Soccer Post!

More misc. soccer pictures as the season wears down.
Johansen Pools was one of the sponsors for the soccer team this year. Adam was going to ask Curt to sponsor half and we would sponsor the other half but when Adam went in and asked if Curt would like too he said "For Calli... anything," and ended up sponsoring the whole thing. Here is the banner hanging up on the fence.

This is where Adam can be found most games. He gets so excited when Calli is playing that he can't sit down. What a proud papa.
After the games he wanders down to talk to Calli.
Love this picture of the two of them talking about the game.

Cheese!

Calli modeling the "Captain Badge" around her shin.  The coaches pick a player after each game depending on how they played to be the captain in the next game. She was chosen after a game where she was guarding quite a large girl on the opposing team and she just kept going after her and attacking regardless of their sizes.
This is one of the two Varsity Games Calli got to play in. This one was against Pine View. Snow Canyon got ahead 3-0 and threw in some of our JV players.  We were just sitting there when we looked up and saw Calli standing by the post to go in. I said "Is Calli going in?" I about starting crying as she ran out on the field. Out of the 5 freshman he threw in 3 and Calli was one of them. It was so exciting. The crowd was so loud and everyone was cheering. It was so cool to watch our little pups play against their big dogs. They did awesome they kept them scoring. After the game Calli said she was so nervous to go in but she did well and stopped a goal from going in. She was pretty proud of herself.

During one of the Varsity games Jadyn went down hard on hurt her knee again. Calli spent the rest of the game nursing to her needs and rubbing her back. It was cute.

Adam and I hanging out at the games.

Picking Calli up at Snow Canyon after one of her away games. Most of the time she comes home with us but there have been a few times she wanted to hang with her teammates on the bus after the game.
