Sadie turns 12!

So excited for Sadie to turn 12 and be in Young Women's with me now!

This year Sadie only had a few birthday requests. She wanted KFC for her birthday dinner and a DQ blizzard ice cream cheesecake cake.

My camera had died so I used Adam's phone camera to take pictures. A few days later he thought I had already downloaded them to the computer and erased them...I hadn't.  So, unfortunately these are the only pictures I have of her birthday. 

All Sadie asked for this year was for a new pair of Bobs and money to go shopping in Salt Lake when we go up in a few weeks.  We put small bills in about 15 different balloons that she had to pop to get the money out. I didn't realize she had such a fear of popping balloons. It was so funny to watch her get all geared up to pop her balloons. She finally managed to get all her money and open her Bobs.  We were just taking the cake out of the freezer when Adam rolled in a surprise for her...a new bike. She was so surprised she said "You go me a new bike?" We love going on family bike rides on Sunday's and her bike was getting pretty beat up so Adam came up with the idea to surprise her with one for her birthday. It was great. The girls all went out after cake and rode their bikes around the drive-way. 

12 reason's why we love Sadie...

1. She is hilarious, she keeps us laughing everyday. She loves to do impressions. Her latest one is impersonating Calli trying to flare her nostrils. 

2. She is so sweet. She is the nicest person you will ever meet. 

3. She has cares for those that are less fortunate and is a friend to all. 

4. She is so smart and is doing very well in school.  So far she is on the honor roll. 

5. She is very tender and very loving. Everyday when I drop her off at school  her gives me a kiss and tells me she loves me. Each night she comes in (sometimes more than once) to hug and kiss Adam and I. 

6.  She loves dance, soccer, her friends, her cousins, her cell phone, clothes, malls, music and anything else girly. 

7. She is so excited to go into YW. She has a strong testimony and keeps the family in line. Living the gospel is very black and white to her and she struggles when people don't see it that way.

8. She is my best morning person. She is the easiest to get up in the morning. As soon as I wake her up she jumps out of bed gets dressed, does her hair and comes down for breakfast. 

9. She is all about FUN! Everyday she asks what are we doing today. She always wants to be doing something fun. 

10. She is our little social butterfly. She loves friends and makes friend very easily. 

11. She is beautiful inside and out. We get so many comments on how pretty Sadie is. We've talked to her about eh importance of being pretty on the inside too. Lucky for us, she is. She is a very kind and generous person. 

12. She is very helpful around the house. She does well at keeping her room clean. She loves to help Adam with Sunday dinner and comes home after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays and loves to come help me with preschool. 

Happy, Happy Birthday Sadie Jae. You are such a joy to have in our family and we love you so much!
