Soccer Camp, Girls Camp and Swimming Lessons!

Calli left on Tuesday, June 25th for a week to a UVU soccer camp. She had a really tough decision to make. The soccer camp landed on the same week as girls camp. She really struggled with this decision because she didn't want to miss girls camp but the soccer camp was such a great opportunity. It was an invite only soccer camp where the coach only took 16 girls.  By him inviting her it opened the door for her to play Varsity next year as a sophomore.  She made the decision to go to soccer camp but still up until the day she left she still doubted her decision. We supported her either way 100%.  She ended up going and had a great time, the coaches got to see her play with Varsity players, she got to hang out with Jadyn and she was able to get to know the girls even better.
The following day Wednesday, June 26th Sadie left for Girls camp. This was her first year and the reason Calli struggled with her decision so much. She really wanted to be there with Sadie her first year. Had girls camp been any longer or in Cedar the decision may have been different but this year the ward went to Pine Valley and stayed in a cabin for two nights. Even though Sadie was extremely nervous about the nights this was a better situation for her. She was only 30 minutes away and it was only two nights. After a lot of visiting and a fathers blessing she headed to camp excited but with the jitters. Kami and Curt Johansen kept an eye on her for us.  We told her we would come and get her for the nights if she needed us to but...she did it. She stayed the whole time and had a wonderful time. We were so proud of her.

That same week Gentry had swimming lessons. It was a good thing she had something to keep her busy while her sisters were gone.
Kami, Kim and I signed our kids up together. Gentry loved going to her lessons with Hallee each day.

Congrats Gentry! She passed level 5!
With Kami at Girls camp also, we had Hallee for a couple days as well.
They had so much fun playing all day and then having a sleepover.
It was so hard having both of the girls gone at the same time and in totally different places. I couldn't wait for Friday to come so my whole family would be together again!...Gentry was excited too, we made them a sign.
